At the end of the day, Australian Internet connections are RUBBISH and nowhere near the speeds that other places in the world have. TFB and Activision NEED to implement PERMANENT single player/offline modes or even a campaign ASAP, and not just timed. That's just reality. And not just for the people who prefer to play offline, like me. For the longevity of this game too.

The loading issues are actually due to cross play, those long loads are on base PS4’s and Xbox ones, people have ps5’s and series x’s have to wait for those guys to load even if ours is technically done

Since you said there's only going to be one mode, I'm going to have to pass. This game should've been a party game. I don't see it surviving with just one mode. Activision is being a little stupid with this. I'm not gonna lie lol. That's like Mario Party having 7 boards, but only 1 mini game to play. That's repetitive. I guess I'll just wait for Crash 5 and Spyro 4.

I agree as soon as I hear rumors about an online only crash game that made me concerned about the fate of crash. Crash and Spyro are not online games. They are singleplayer. I did enjoy the beta but I am waiting for a bit before buying this game. I wanna see how it does. I really hope it succeeds in getting a good player pop past launch.

@slayer4932 I remember people were saying that the game was supposed to have way more modes, so I was thinking that meant that we were going to be able to do other things besides wumpa collecting. Come to find out through podcastnow is that those modes are just going to be time modes and stuff. I don't see this game doing well then since they just wanna focus on collecting wumpas. The game should have way more modes where we do other things. I just think Activision is being a bit naive if they think this game is going to last very long with just one mode. If anything, they should've just made a brand new party game. Or this game could've easily been a Crash Fall Guys with different stuff to do. I just think Activision didn't think this through clearly. I'm starting to see why people were pissed once this game finally got revealed after waiting for 3 years straight.

Well on one hand it definitely doesn't take that long. On the other hand you have bots and I've left matchmaking and then done it again and found some of the same people.... I do wonder how many have this game...

It doesn’t take that long even in beta I got matches frequently. official launch has more players than beta did. Servers are also really stable. They aren’t shit tier like CTRNF servers.

Another problem i had with the gameplay is campers, I lost a match because the whole other team was camping in your base since we were 100 wumpas close from winning and they were far behind. The match lasted like 15 minutes and we lost because of those campers.

There are two main ways to deal with such a thing (mileage may vary) 1. focus the epic relic station (maybe standard ones if you’ve Ika Ika or Akano etc.) as depending on the map it can cause enemies to disperse or give you a boost to deal better with a scrum, (If you have the map with the bonus bank use it as a dummy and go to the bank they aren’t at (I scored 1800 Wumpa myself with that method as the enemy focused the bonus one letting me go standard uncontested)). 2. hang back a little, try to watch your allies and go to score as a 2 (or if possible 3) strong group rather than trickling in and getting taken out/feeding the enemy.

I think this game is really fun, but having said that, there is one MAIN thing that REALLY holds this game back. Online Only. WHY should we as consumers require an Internet connection and server connection JUST to play this game? I get this game is a 4v4, but COME ON!!!!!!!!!. And don't get me started on the scummy idea behind the beta. WHY should we as consumers have had to 'preorder' the game just to play the beta? TFB NEED to include a hefty offline and single player mode ASAP for the longevity of this game. And it needs to be permanently IN the game. Not just timed. Because once the servers go down or get shut down, you're done playing this game, or any game for that matter. And unless the devs have implemented a hefty single player and offline mode or campaign permanently in the game (which this game requires in my opinion) your game is essentially going to become an expensive coaster or paperweight. A digital or online only future is NOT what it's cracked up to be so to speak.

Point taken, but regardless it also could prove and show how many people not only have bought the game but actually WANT to be required to have an Internet connection just to play the game. Why should players be forced to have an Internet connection for a Crash Bandicoot franchised game? Fortnite, CS:GO and other games like that, yeah okay that's a given. But a Crash Bandicoot game regardless of the fact that it's a 4v4 brawler style game? COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is exactly my main complaint about beta. Only 1 game mode. Now same problem applies in launch. Sure it’s fun but it will get stale fast. I really don’t think this game will survive with 1 game mode. You mentioned “timed modes” im assuming those are gonna be like CTRNF Grand Prixes. Which isn’t the content the game needs. Grand prixes in NF was just a battle pass and a long grind of unlocking stuff. It really should have been free to play or 20$ and under. 1 single game mode is not worth 40$. All I can say is I hope I’m wrong and I really want this game to succeed in keeping a strong player base past launch along with new game modes.
