I do understand "not envying kids nowadays". Not just in television sense but in games and such as well. I remember playing rpg games that had all their files open, so me and my friends would change things here and there to our liking. And eventually start writing ideas of our own to try to make a game. Using paint to create our pixeled characters and many other things. We are one of the new generations that grew up entirely in a technological age, yet I think we(at least me and my friends) saw it as a much more creative thing.

I wouldn't say there, to be honest, no matter what time where it is the early 2000's or today there have always been really good shows and really bad shows. Thing is there's gonna be good stuff and bad stuff in whatever generation so nothing has really changed it's more evolved in some way.
@christina-wp3mc5 жыл бұрын
@@mc.gemstone I agree there will always be good stuff and bad stuff. Shows are just tending to get repetitive. I'm just saying this from watching TV with my relatives and I just know as a kid I would have no enjoyed the shows they watched. Especially for sitcoms they're great but now it's just the same stories being repeated( maybe I'm wrong) that's from what I can see anyway. I'm mainly talking about the Disney channel. Nickelodeon and CN are THRIVING especially Cartoon Network ( I love u cartoon Network never change)

Finally. Nobody remembers Best of Friends but I do! I liked that. They also had one where children went on cute dates and did challenges. I think it was called Crush? I mourn television from our childhood (I’m 23) because it tackled social issues in a sensitive way, without sugaring them up to protect children from the darker aspect of being a teenager or shoehorning social issues into things the way they do now. It was just the right balance of aware and innocent.
