It's a beautiful mix of genres. The line bass that was behind the guitar solo was AMAZING.

Me too, Gaye 😁 and couldn't agree with you more. I love it when youngsters give me hope for the future of music. I think they are fab! 🤟 I really hope more people stumble upon this video who may not have heard them before. It's a great feeling knowing a video I make has turned someone on to something new. That's what this is all about 👍

Well done to those girls. That was great and much respect to them. I had a listen to God, Allow Me (Please) To Play Music. Another great song and probably the most polite title for a protest song ever. Give them a few years though and they'll all be growling like Tatiana whilst dancing about and swearing like Rage Against The Machine (who's album I loved by the way). There was a little bit of the song that reminded me of Ningen Isu with Heartless Scat. Actually that would make a great reaction. Let's just say they are the opposite of a young female Japanese band. Mmmmm!

Glad you dig the RATM album, who on the subject of, Tom Morello is a big fan of VOB. He even surprised them with a video call! There's a video floating about somewhere on KZbin. Their debut album is great. Short and sweet. Even SOAD vibes in there too. Highly recommend it if you haven't blasted it already. And another recommendation for me? You're too kind, sir 😜

VoB vocalist and guitarist, Firda "Marsya" Kurnia, hopes that the latest song from her band can educate all parties that women are not public property. Marsya said that their fear of violence against women would get worse in the future, which was the reason for making this song. "In our opinion, what should be encouraged is education as well. Because you can't keep ordering women to dress like this, like that," said Marsya. According to Marsya, education is one of the first ways to prevent violence that often happens to women. Marsya added, the song "[Not] Public Property" is also a vessel for the voices of women who are survivors of sexual violence. Marsya admits that the idea to work on the song was born out of concern and people's response to survivors of sexual violence. The idea actually emerged from two years ago. Composition of music was done from home due to the social restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic. "So we feel that in the midst of the victims' trauma and fear, they still often fuss about how they were dressed when the violence occurred, questioning their bodies when the violence occurred. They say the victim contributed to the incident of violence," said Marsya. The three members of VoB feel that their own interests need to be emphasized in songwriting because of their role as Indonesian women. Voice of Baceprot (VoB) is one of the Indonesian metal band groups that speak out loud about social issues. Marsya, the vocalist, revealed that the songs were explored from everyday experiences to reading references. "Experience Becomes Inspiration Voice of Baceprot Expresses Social Criticism Through Metal Songs"
