I LOVE this KIND of FISHING ~ Flipping HEAVY VEGETATION

If there is one fishing technique I love it's flipping and punching heavy cover for bass. And right now on Lake Guntersville the mats are stacked with bass to target with heavy Hawg Tech tungsten weights, a heavy action fishing rod, and big braid. You can do it too by targeting matted vegetation on your home lake or body of water, all you need to do is find vegetation that makes a canopy for bass to live under. Damn it Mikey! Bring some of that grass down here. Tired of barren, grass less lakes. And I really hate it when it goes on commercial right on the hookset! Have to rewind and watch again. Lol. Frogging too? What about swimjig, swimbait, chatterbait, spinnerbait, spook type topwater, lipless crankbait, or a big worm in that grass. Did I miss any? All of my favorite ways to catch em' revolve around grass mats like you're fishing on. Take me up there. Nothing like that braid singing sound on the hookset. Excellent video.

The other grass is Naiad. I have noticed the bite has been weird this year. A couple weekends ago they would hit the bait as I was bringing it back out of the mat. Had a couple come out after the bait was out of the water. My favorite time of the year on the big G.
