I LOVE this low-profile Mechanical Keyboard // Keychron K3 v2 - Review

Have a mac and PC set up - Im looking for a keyboard that I can keep plugged into my PC for gaming and then flick to bluetooth to connect to my mac without haveing to unplug and re plug cabels, do you know if thats possible with this keyboard?

To make it pretty seamless, I would suggest looking at : Logitech MX Mechanical Mini or Logitech Mx Keys S .... I've had the most reliable switching experience with logitech when it comes to going between mac, pc and Ipad.

What is your 7 month review on the board? Thinking of picking this up for my student setup, I have a lot of essay typing, coding etc, how's the low profile and wear and tear over time?

Hi! Wear and tear is very minimal. I absolutely love it! Also, Although I feel the nuphy air75 might be a better typing experience. Id love to try that out too. But that might wear out faster.

2.5 year review of keyboard: This keyboard was good for about 6 months. battery life was never good, you can notice a difference in charge length within weeks of use, after 6 months though, the Bluetooth feature was almost not working, also the battery life was so bad you needed to charge it after 2 days even without lights on. Another 6 months down, it has become a wired only keyboard because of the battery and bluetooth. also being on wired mode, I have to keep the switch stil on Bluetooth, because the keyboard will make a weird noise from the port. FINALLY, just today the reason why I am writing this. I noticed the back of the keyboard was all swollen, and when the legs arent propped the keyboard doesnt sit flat. I loved the keyboard when I first had it, but man the problems, I would've thouight about buying anotherr k3 until today when I saw the battery swell.

bro PLEASE get that keyboard back to keychron ASAP. It looks to me as if the battery has a factory defect, especially if the back is swollen like that. This is DANGEROUS, since swollen batteries exposed to external force can ignite or even explode easily. All things considered, I reckon you should be able to get a replacement device no questions asked from keychron customer service.

Hi I have the same keyboard with brown switches. I wanna know if its possible to swap in blue switches for this. Can you please let me know if you have any experience or knowledge of that ?

Hi! Did you get the hot-swappable version of the keyboard? Try to check the product link (you bought from) again and see if It says 'hot swappable', If yes, then you can buy the blue switches from keychron website and swap it out (with blue). Hope that answers your question?

MX Craft is not membrane keyboard, its a scissor keyboard (small membrane + scissor-like supporters) like MX Keys.

The best keycaps i have are 35?- year old wob cherry doubleshot abs. yes almost all keys are now shiny but they look like polished gemstones and feel and sound firmer then thicker pbt s. The Keychron abs are total crap tho indeed. the worst. Sold my keychron because of the totally stupid dedicated rgb light switch, which was the stupidest thing ever.
