Just letting you know, the reason single swings are better is not just because of stamina. It's also because single swings have no end-lag for combos so you can just spam your swings as long as you don't need to do a directional attack.

@@TaigaClaws I was referring to other Zelda games where they have a 4 hit combo that has end lag and knock back at the end so you can’t just spam the swing sword button all the time. There is essentially no combos in SS so I’m saying there’s no end lag every 4 hits.

Honestly... as a kid I never had a Wii so a couple years ago I borrowed someone's Wii to play SS for the first time. Once I found out there were multiple of those light orb collection segments I put the game down and never touched it again. I have enough stress in my adult life I don't need this lmao

The thing is, if your IR sensor is set up correctly, you never need to calibrate the Wiimote. It will reset it's position every time it's pointed at the sensor. I've literally never had any problem with the motion controls in this game because I took the time to put the sensor at an appropriate place.

​@@SeedyDragon You can't play the game without the sensor unless you use some bootleg Bluetooth adapter. If he doesn't set it up correctly and then complains about the controls that's his problem. 1 sensor comes with every Wii and the USB versions for PC are like 5$ online.

I dont understand how people can hate skyward sword, it had arguably the best art style, some of the best dungeons, bosses and music, and the motion controls were not that bad if you did more than just barely move the remote by 2mm like linkus

I think it's mostly because that game is more linear and "cartoony" than the others. But people also used to hate Wind Waker, so you shouldn't really listen to them imo. I love that game but the motion controls are really shit because the Wii-mote is kinda known to malfunction after some time or generally to not be the really best for that stuff. Also it felt like the Nunchuk needed calibrating every hour. The HD remaster really does make it so much better!

exactly. unless you're playing in front of a monitor and have little space, it's very fun and easy. i never had any problem with the motion controls, even when i was like 8yo.

Why don't you just buy the shield? Also, idk if you know this, but you can upgrade many of the items at skyloft, including the sheilds by upgrading the sheilds it gives them a nicer look and a better durability the bow and the beetle have a bunch of upgrades, by the end the beetle and the bow get really op and get a really nice look, some other items that you can upgrade are the "slingshot, the bug net, slingshot and bomb and allow sack, aaaaand, I think that's it"
