Yes they may be somewhat better but but but. They too have issues and major ones at that, just cause you spend more does not equate into better built. We seen one at a dealership in Tennessee and wanted to look inside, the sales manager stated we could not and we asked why. The camper had a slide out leak on the roof, rear wall coming loose and poorly secured floor. It was in for the 3rd time for repairs and the dealership said we could not go inside for those reasons. It was soo new we thought it was a model for sale. Sad very sad. I said it from day one with Brinkley, all campers are just lipstick on a pig, every once in a while you find a well build model and that's not brand specific. Not bashing Brinkley, but they dont need a pedestal to be placed on

@ - That’s sad… 😢 I went to a few RV shows to narrow my choices down between a few Cougars and Montana’s, and saw horrible quality. It was like the builders were drunk, not joking. Made me do a 180 on purchasing one.

@Erin-Thor yea, it really comes down to luck at this point buying a solid one. We currently own a Grand Design Reflection 5th wheel. Bought it before they sold to Winnibago. It's been pretty solid, had some issues but nothing I couldn't fix. I'm a maintenance freak. We are in the market for a newer one and it will be our last. Montana, Brinkley, and Riverstone was on our list. So far we are down to the Riverstone. Downside is we must go to a DRW which I really dont want. Idk, over 200k for the camper and another 100k for the truck, we can do it easily but we are also close to retirement so we are considering just stepping back. Been camping for 40 years and love it. We really thought Brinkley was gonna do it for us, getting into one for 100k would've been great, read online forums, Brinkley's are starting to get a pretty bad reputation

In my opinion, this is about as perfect of a floor plan as I have ever seen! Very impressed and keep the cabinets above the recliners! Never remove any storage that could be added!!!

Kudos to them for finally switching to an upgraded pin box. As an RV transporter I really appreciate that. When I left Goshen with one of these going to California I thought it was a little stiff but by the time I drove it 2000 miles it seemed to have gotten better, with its construction I would think that spring and that shock would limber up as time goes on. The Morryde pin box is my favorite but this one could be better after it gets broken in.

Ours came with the Helux. Had it removed before taking delivery and swapped out for a GenY gooseneck. For years I towed with a Hensley Trailer Saver air hitch. Can't be beat!

I really like what Brinkley‘s doing with their RVs. And I’m glad to see they moved into the travel trailer market. However, I hope they are not done downsizing their floor plans. For example it looks like my next RV is going to be cougars 22 MLE. The floor plan is great. It offers the features I want and it’s a size that I want, especially since it will allow me to keep it at my house. I would love to see Brinkley do a version of that floor plan because I would very much like the solid surface countertops, the better fit and finish and the generally higher luxury level than Keystone has to offer in that size. Sometimes I think the industry thinks that all the people that buy smaller RVs, buy them due to budget constraints. The smaller ones just fit my lifestyle better but I could afford higher quality ones if I could find them out there. Thanks Josh.

I've said this enough times and I'm sure people are tired of my comments. Brinkley is the best... they really think of the entire experience both inside and outside the RV, usage, maintenance... Literally everything. With that said and since you asked for suggestions. I currently have an infrared sauna in my house. I would be willing to sacrifice closet space to have a single person infrared sauna in my Brinkley. Finger's crossed that Santa has pull with Brinkley 🎅. Brinkley, make a dishwasher a factory-installed option in lieu of that little fridge and I’d call this perfect! I know it’s something that can be done easily at the dealer or on my own, but Brinkley is synonymous with giving you what you want/need straight from the factory. With that being said, the last 4-5 Brinkley models that’s debuted on this channel has stolen my heart. All of them are models I could see myself owning if money was no object!

This is the first Brinkley I would consider buying. Still not a fan of the hardward decor colors. And, I don't like the fact that there is no cabinet around/between the stove top and the tv. At least they put the tv counter above the kitchen counter in the event of a spill. However, I like the dishwashere prep. I just wish they would flip flop the pantry and dishwasher area to opposite sides of the refridgerator. That way when you're standing at the sink you can easily access the dishwasher. And, I would make the counter above the dishwasher a coffee station/bar and if flip flopped it gives better access to the sink for water for making coffee, etc. Love the side by side fridge. Love, Love, Love that there is no window above the bed!!! Finally!!! Thank you!!! I understand why the bathroom vanity is oriented the way it is as far as access to the shower. But, being right handed, wish the sink was on the left side and the drawers were on the right side. Overall... I like it.

I like it. Everyone has a rear living room. I'm not worried about getting to the fridge while in travel mode, just the bathroom. I'm like you, I would rather enter the living room, not the kitchen. It seems as if the island is moved back some also. Very nice.

Yeah with the kitchen in the back they shift the island toward the tail a bit which gives it a more open feel when you walk in (to me anyway)

Another great unit from Brinkley! Big fan of the underbelly storage and the upgraded pin box. Not a fan of the bathroom mirror in place of a medicine cabinet. I do like the living room slide storage, but, would actually prefer it over the dinesk. If I'm using it as a desk, having the overhead storage there would be convenient for office supplies. Kudos to Brinkley again! And to Josh for his typical awesome presentation!

All the new Brinkley's are next level. I noticed all of the cabinets open from the side. Nice! Windows- I wish the window shades were the other way around, shade coming up from the bottom. The ones over the chairs I would prefer a bigger window. There is plenty of storage, and too much will get it overloaded eventually. Recliner- I prefer manual, but my knees don't. My dad has a nice one- power, heat, massage. That's my goal. Wine storage- My head went to omg, smashed bottles after bouncing around during travel! Are those things under the table really for wine bottles? Cause that does not seem like enough space. bathroom - I would much rather have only the door into the hall. Closing off the bedroom wall would allow for a pocket door. It also gives more space in the bathroom for a towel bar or more hooks. I love the chair storage outside. Easy access for a picnic stop, or for things you want to be able to easily access. I see there is no outside kitchen. Thank you! If you switch the bed to a queen, do you know how big the side stands would be? CPAP sized?

Wowza! I absolutely love this one! And the extra storage - ALWAYS appreciated! Need to be outside enjoying the views. My only disappointment is the bathroom mirror. They make split medicine cabinets that size with double opposing doors. I personally need that extra space. The drawers are for hair appliances, wash cloths, and such BUT if Santa wanted to bring this to me with a dually to tow, I'm definitely not going to be upset or complain! Great video as usual. We love your reviews and commentary. We have been watching all your Brinkley vids as we are looking to upgrade next year and we settled on a Brinkley 5th wheel, just trying now to narrow down model/floor plan. The word “camping” encompasses a wide range of RV travel and usage. So needs and wants vary. We like to spend outside time and inside time with our RV. Outside we grill, sit around and enjoy the scenery. When inside we are either remote working or unwinding for the day and watching TV. For us, we prefer less windows for more wall and cabinet space. We like larger TVs (as we get older) and would like more options from factory for larger solar systems (1500 to 3000 watt) as well as factory installed Starlink (seems to be coming the go to for a lot of RV’ers). Also about the windows, we are in South Texas, less windows means cooler RV in theory. I know we can do after market and dealer upgrades but it does not make sense to buy a new RV and pay for parts you will just rip out and replace not to mention it’s better to just have some of these added at the factory instead of ripping apart a new RV. (Yes there are logistical and financial reasons the manufactures don’t do this).

This is another win in so many ways for Brinkley. My first impression surprised me. It seemed cluttered and discombobulating somehow though every Brinkley touch is perfectly present. I would go right back to the very first Brinkley Model Z. And this is exactly why there are so many awesome floorplans!

If I was in the market for a 5th wheel I would consider this. I have an Air 285 and love it. I suggest that they add about a half inch of height to the butt napkin storage device base so that if there is any spillage on the floor it is not absorbed by the bottom roll.

Flipping the plan is genius and gives it a whole new look. I also like the idea of being able to put a dishwasher where the little fridge is. I sure wish Brinkly would offer Independent Suspension. As good as the suspension is that is offered, it is not as good as the I.S. is. And let's face it, the roads in the US for the most part are horrible, especially east of the Rockies. I'm hoping Brinkly will at some time (hopefully soon) offer as an option Independent Suspension.

Beautiful floor plan, love everything about it. The extra refrigerator is nice, and gives you options. Also a huge fan of the televator. When you aren't watching TV, you still get natural light from the window, where in a traditional setup, it would be blocked by the TV.

We just brought our 2025 Z3100 home yesterday. I think we are really going to enjoy it. A word of caution in regard to Brinkley buyers, be mindful of the ACTUAL length. We garage our rig and when I parked in the garage as was a bit surprised. Assuming it is 34' 11" per the Brinkley brochure, I was a bit surprised. The yellow weight sticker on the door also included an "as manufactured length" which was 36' 1". That is a full 13 inches when it comes to parking. Just FYI.

love this also, once again great unit, far as storage over the seats vs window space... am thinking needs more window space there, but, rather than get rid of them, move the cabinets over to the right over the desk/dinette thing, basically just swap them around... that way you have storage over your desk where you probably more likely to use it, considered maybe turning that little 2nd fridge toward outside... but would not be a great place for one outside really way back there away from main camp area... better to leave as is or put dishwasher there i think. road mode i would consider good enough to get it done, only because you can use bed and bathroom, 2 most important things of all, for cracker barrel stops, just eat in there for dinner or breakfast, i more than likely would be eating there since i am there anyway, and for walmart / grocery stops open that one slide to load up... not great road mode, but acceptable, good enough. this one does indeed try to give the best of all features with as little sacrifice as possible, nice job.

Lot to love on this unit and you did a FANTASTIC job on this video Josh. Dislikes are those horrible windows that go for "looks" over the function of a window. Yes they open a little farther then the windows that let in only a little air. But that's a low bar to get over. Second would be that worthless televator. They do nothing but waste space, they break and allow very few choices in what tv's you can mount in it along with giving zero ability to turn the tv to allow other places to see it, like the couch. Again going for the glitzy looks instead of a tv mount that actually works. Lastly and the biggest thing for me on brinkley Z unit is they charge a full profile price for a mid pro rv, then fill it with furrion trash. Furrion makes the absolute cheapest chinese junk in the rv industry. I realize brinkley in deep in bed with lippert but for the price they are charging for an "upscale" midpro it shouldn't come with the cheapest junk made for appliance's and AC's. On the cabinets over the chairs I would much rather have a bigger window then the cabinets on this model because they did such a great job of storage on this model. Lots to love and I like how they are pushing the industry in several area's. But their dedication to glitz over function and the super cheap appliances/ac's leaves me out.

I really like the underbelly storage and wish everyone would do it. This is really nice but I prefer the patio model since I like cooking outside. Come on, Brinkley, please add the cup holders to the theater seats. ( Am I the only person who wants this small improvement) ? I am fine with the manual recliners but I prefer the power ones. For taller people I don't like the cabinet above the theater seat and I would prefer a larger window. I like that Brinkley hides the control panels in the cabinet and the other small details they do to rise over their competition. Nice, it’s actually like my Z3400 in reverse. Here’s what I would like to see: Get away from that Furrion refrigerator. There have a high failure rate. I am currently waiting on my replacement. Soft close drawers. Drop down knife and spice rack. Convection/Air fryer microwave or oven. Other than that, I like it!

Leaning toward the 3400, just need to find a place that has them on the lot so my wife can walk through them. Are they starting to manufacture them with the independent suspension, because I've heard that there is a one year wait to get independent suspension installed after market. Again, great job!!

Love ur videos Josh! Watch your reviews often. On this Brinkley…no small refrig with bottle storage, make it a cabinet with shelves. In the bathroom, remove the large mirror and add a medicine cabinet in line with the sink. Add some small shelves to the left of medicine cabinet. In the bedroom, since we aren’t big TV watchers, leave out the TV and add some cabinets. THEN…tell me where to buy it!

Nice to see a manufacturer listening to customer input. Nice changes. Now what I would like to see is a change or alternative to the 3500. Something with the 3950 or 4100 living room and kitchen but a 10 ft garage to keep the total length to around 40ft. Love the 4100 layout but nearly 46ft YIKES! Take some off the garage and lose the second recliner and it would be a great couples trailer with a sewing area for my wife, and maybe room for a Spyder on travel days too.

Hey Josh. Thanks for posting this one and for answering my question on the podcast the other night. I have an idea....what about moving the cabinets above the recliners to above the table. I'd prefer the front two windows to be larger with our lake view. I don't think you'll miss the space. Otherwise I'd say get rid of 'em. This thing seems to have plenty of storage. On a separate note we saw a 3100 in person and I wasn't in love with the "dinesk". I don't know if it was just me being dumb, but I found it kind of difficult to get it back in after I had extended it.

Thank you Brinkley!!! This is a great layout! Still want to see option for the cuddler friendly theater seat and a top French style with lower freezer drawer main refrigerator. And the bathroom is awesome!! Love the bigger counter space and the larger mirror. Would like to see an actual vent to the outside for the microwave and oven so you could run the vent while cooking even while it’s raining And the larger tank capacity for both fresh and gray water is much appreciated as well! Also the pantry is amazing!! But could we have some drawers in it as an option also? Open drawers to bring all the supplies out to you

This one looks more residential than the 3100 which has been our favorite. The black/gray dump isn’t ideal but workable. Does anyone have ideas of how to use the space where wine bottles were displayed next to the smaller refrigerator? I’m not much of a wine drinker and prefer beer so the extra interior fridge would be great for beverages. We’d use that back counter area as a coffee bar. Definitely a great consideration!

There is a travel latch that holds them in place at the top of the door.

I like that you could put the slide out when you are stopped. But is there a possibility of adding the fill freezer/fridge like you have in the model g’s. You have added the storage slide. As someone who is looking at full time living in the very near future it would be great if I had quick access on a short stop for that wick fridge access. I do love the layout.

The 3100 is a better model "out of the box" for travel stops I think This one is a better model for destination-use in my view But i'd never turn my nose up at either of them

I love the Brinkley units, the quality is is refreshing. The only minor suggestions I would suggest is a fiberglass roof and please offer a different cabinet color. Off white (like the i265) or a stained brown in a matte/satin finish would be great. Lastly, theater seats that have an moveable armrest for "cuddle compliance", as you say. The grey trend has come and gone in my opinion but obviously several people still like them!

One big change I believe is to the 150g freshwater in a z series. Isn't that new? Thought only the g series had that. That's huge for those of us that want to boondock frequently, and while this layout doesn't appeal to me that change alone is encouraging! My fingers are still crossed for a model that is a cross between a 3400 and a 3515...and definitely with that water capacity! Thanks for the video, keep up the great work!

Josh. This particular model Brinkley will require F450 or for the safest towing a F550 series truck. This is especially true once you start to accessorize and load personal belongings. I know, I have a Brinkley and a 1-ton diesel truck, and I had to modify a 13,000 GVW package to tow it safely. Brinkley's are a very good RV and we love it, BUT HEAVY.

*Walking into the living room / kitchen to the back feels more homey. I love this! *I still dislike a sink in the island... the clutter of simply having soap out drives me nuts. 😫 *very curious to see if Brinkley suffers the same issues Alliance has with the refrigerator in the tail. Alliance 382RK is a FAVORITE layout, but toooo many people are having issues with the refrigerator location. I wish they'd put the sink there - with a big ol window over it - and the refrigerator to the side closer to the axel. *Very odd place to have a dishwasher option. It would be very awkward to load from the sink to there. (but if the sink was on that wall... hint hint...! 😉) *I didn't see any drop down utensil drawers... wish it had those too! *would be nice if the televator button was over by the theater seats *would still be nice to have a lower shelf under bed by the outlet underneath for cpap to sit on *I'd prefer a medicine cabinet AND the lower drawers. Smaller mirror not a loss vs the big one. *would be nice if the Pet Dish holder thing was on the opposite end of the island (pantry end) *Preference of power or manual recliner? Depends on the recliner and the ease of pulling the lever and as one that's had hip surgery, the ease of closing the foot. *Hard to say about the storage over the theater seats - would have to use to judge if its worth losing the window size. *Perfect space for the coffee bar since it doesn't have a cabinet directly over (steam from the coffee maker is NOT good for cabinets!) *Coat closet / dog leash spot is appreciated! This one is a GREAT size. Other floorplans I've really liked unfortunately get into the 40ft + range. As always, I greatly appreciate the fit & finish of Brinkley! Thank you SO much for the slow-movement video so we don't get whiplash, and for Roadmode view. I'm on team "this will work" since the single slide can be opened to get to the kitchen. Thinking about the problems other have with the refrigerator on the back wall- Brinkley may avoid some of that due to the refrigerator lock they have for travel mode. Still wonder how things will ride inside.

Nice layout - unique. Question: Brinkley touts that the way the do their corners and all the seals that you don't need external caulk to keep it water tight. I didn't see specifics on that in your factory tour, but I would love to see more construction details where Brinkley does things to ensure that long term quality. What's special about the roof, how do you mount the walls and roof to get that seamless look. We all see the dovetails and solid surface, but what distinguishes Brinkley under the hood? Also, the processes to ensure quality down the line.

I think it’s funny that the other day I said, “just put a mirror on the wall when you have that much storage in the bathroom!” Dear lord I love Brinkley! I will give them one very BIG ding though. There is nowhere to put your CPAP. They offer an extended “over the head shelf,” but you CANNOT place your CPAP above your head. It is full of water, so heaven forbid something goes wrong, you drown! I own a G3950, and absolutely love it. I do have a little table in the closet for ol’ Pappy though! Great video, thank you Josh! #Nerdherd

bed slides are tricky that way.. if you want even a modest 6" stand on each side of that bed you need to make the entire rv a foot longer That quickly translate to about $1,800 (each foot adds a lot of cost) that makes those some VERY expensive side stands..

The double tank (two tanks plumbed together) is for the w/d, shower, and bathroom sink. The rear tank is for the kitchen sink and dishwasher.

Appreciate Brinkley monitoring this channel so they can listen to feedback. I was looking forward to this new model preview, but a little disappointed on the kitchen layout. There is no one who is ever going to use that dishwasher that you plumbed for, it makes no sense. You rinse the dishes have to walk across the kitchen to place some dishes in dishwasher as you’re dripping water on the floor. My advice with the Brinkley ownership is to ask your wives if they think that is a good idea. Your design team planned for the possibility of probably less than one percent wanting to exercise that option. The problem is you plumbed the kitchen sink to that dishwasher which causes the second gray line. While you’re in prototype phase please remove that dishwasher option so the kitchen sink can be plumbed to the bathroom that way there will be no need for a second gray line in the back. This has potential to be a great coach, but that second gray line to me is a dealbreaker because it’s such a pain in the rear end when you’re at a park.

This should fit the needs for a one and done purchase. I like the kitchen and was wondering why the gray water was so huge but with a dishwasher I can see why. I love that table and chairs for eating.
