This layout is one my favorites. ❤️ only thing missing is a fire place… the electric heater is nice so you don’t burn propane. I like the square kitchen. The 150 series has a similar design but flipped around.
@drendamills896022 сағат бұрын
I 100% agree, it's not always cold enough for the Propane Heat. I think all RV's should come standard with the electric fireplace.

if you have a washer dryer, you can get away with carrying less clothes with you, like everything else, depends on how and where you plan to use the rv. the one thing i am totally sure of is i do not want to have take my time and go spend money just sitting at a laundry mat, especially if i am out trying to be on vacation and camp.

The quiet AC is a HUGE plus! HUGE. I would love to have that in my unit. AC's can be so LOUD!! It was a relief to me when you pulled down that center arm rest on the sofa. Got to have an arm rest, but it's nice that you can relax side-by-side when you want to do that. Nice windowshades too. The bedroom layout is great! It's so nice to have a sort of night stand on each side of the bed. I've had a couple of RV's without that feature, and where do you put your phone at night without a night stand? Good job, Jayco!
@JoshtheRVNerd4 сағат бұрын
Yeah i prefer those fold up/down arm rests like that

Josh, it still never fails to amaze me that the vast majority of pickups out there are half-tons and none of the manufacturers out there are making true half-ton towable 5th wheels. I know there are compromises, but I truly believe the market exists for that type of trailer. If you took the above trailer and made it a 7' wide body, you would already be close to the weight limit of a half-ton. It just seems to me that working with maunfacturers to build lighter parts and options, the goal could be attained. I know I would be interested. With the advent of electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells on the close horizon, the RV builders are going to have to evolve.

Drop down bracket for the TV! I don't miss the front window in the bedroom. Like the cloth furniture. We occasionally have a guest so we like the dinette to convert to bed and we play games there on bad weather days. C'mon Jayco...move that fuse box! Wish it had an outside fridge. Love the low speakers and the upgraded suspension. Thanks for the review Josh!

This is an awesome 5th wheel. I'd seriously consider this because I could use a motorcycle lift as a tandem tow
@JoshtheRVNerd4 сағат бұрын
You said motorcycle "lift" - the rear hitch is only rated to hold 300lbs vertically. Not sure what sort of hardware you had in mind there. "Lift" sounds like something that doesn't track behind you on the ground. Maybe I'm just unfamiliar with them

I really like this one. Good size dinette giving you a decent sizes spare bed, and storage. The kitchen is small but has everything you need and good position of appliances. The floor space is so good, it just seems so spacious. The bathroom was definitely Tanya friendly, I really like the shower space, and the cubbies are a nice touch. I prefer separate storage in the bedroom and bathroom. I like the bedroom but as you said, the big cupboard is great storage asking as you aren't using it for appliances. But at least you have somec, and under the bed is a great option especially as the bed is so easy to lift. #nerdherd #rvnerdherd They definitely need to move the fuse box.

I have always liked this floorplan. If they could only find a way to get access to the upper deck in road mode it would be just about perfect. I prefer the cabinets under the TV. We always carry an electric space heater for use when we are on campground utilities. I like the change to cloth upholstery. I'm not a fan of the fake leather and vinyl in the adult oriented trailers. A collapsible counter height extension would be nice to the left of the sink and a good place to put a drain board. I'm not a fan of mirrors on cabinets. I also don't like the nook at the head of the bed. As we squish pillows they will end up in the nook then head banging starts. We don't need a wardrobe slide. However I would rather have the option to use the side cabinets as wardrobe or shelf space and see some overhead cabinets over the bed. If it wasn't for the lack of upper deck road access the bedroom would be a deal killer for us. It isn't just the lack of access to bedroom that kills this with road mode. In fact for me it is the lack of access to the bathroom that really kills it. The last thing I want to do at 3AM is to have to walk across some unknown parking lot to use the restroom or worse not have access because the Cracker Barrel is closed.

Mostly love this flayout design. You mentioned this in a different review, I would want the pop-up towers of power (what is hip ya'll?) from the counter tops because some appliances may not reach the outlets above in the counters. Fuse panel location is a deal breaker. Road mode....yikes, the bedroom access being cut off is a bummer, the bathroom is killing me smalls. I appreciate the washer and dryer option but I think they need to R&D the under bed storage to offer more storage organization.
@rlzegers7 минут бұрын
I like the floorplan overall and the added water filter system is cool except it looks to me like, because of the placement of the filters, it would be difficult to change them because they look to be in the middle of the pass thru. Would I need to crawl into the pass thru to reach them?

I never understood why RV manufactures like to put big dinettes in a camper when it is intended for couples(anything with out a bunk). no one likes sitting in them and no one certainly likes sleeping on them as a bed. put a nice bar lounge area back there!
@JoshtheRVNerd21 сағат бұрын
Historical trends is the answer. For the vast majority of RV production the customer mindset was "no dinette - no sale" That's been changing fairly rapidly the past few years
