I went to church today. With the exception of weddings and funerals it was the first time I went willingly in 35 years. I felt it was something I needed to do. God has been reaching out to me and I answered the calling. That calling began last summer when I in the off chance watched one of Skip Heitzegs videos here on youtube. I liked what I saw and I liked Skips approach to preaching. I watched more videos of him and it confirmed what I needed to do. I live in London UK and a quick google search enabled me to find a Calvary Church. My wife and I attended and we were blown away by the energy and love of all the people around us and our new Pastor. I know that we have a long journey ahead of us as "starting again Christians" but the support is there. I feels like we've found a new family. If it wasn't for Skip none of this would have happened. Skip if you are reading this we thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. It was you that brought us back to Jesus and God. God bless.

I watch almost every service online. I live in AZ and don't drive anymore. I attend a small chapel across the parking lot. I also watch CCCH, WOC, and Cornerstone Chapel VA. Praise God for online! We started at CABQ spring '86 on Eubank. I remember starting in the current location with the ceiling unfinished.👆🙏

Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8 If you love me, keep my commandments John 24:15 Blessed are they that keep His commandments that they may have the right to the tree of life and enter into the gates into the city, Revelation 22:14,15 For without are dogs, sorcerer, etc please finish reading 😢 They are more scriptures on the Sabbath that applies to us today. This isn’t about being’Proper”. This is about following our Bible. We either mind Our 10 Commandments or none. It’s that simple. Nowhere in the Bible says “well now,forget the Sabbath and we are changing to Sunday “ A commandment it’s an Order,a Command not an option/a suggestion.

sabbath must be practiced on Saturday (the 7th day of the week) this is the commandment for both jews and Christians because we as Christians believe that the God of the new testament is the god of the old testament and if you believe that Jesus is the word of God you should also believe that God doesn't change his commandments nor what he said because it's written in James 1:17 "whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" and so if God said "keep the sabbath (7th day of the week) holy" & "Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant" then we as Christian should also keep the sabbath holy because we are also children of Israel ( children of Israel means children of the promise, and in Galatians 4:28 it's written "Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise"); also there is NO verse in the bible says that Jesus rose Sunday, the only thing is written in John 20:1 is "The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre" but this doesn't mean that Jesus rose from dead Sunday.

In the New Testament, there is no explicit command from Jesus instructing his followers to observe the Sabbath in the same manner as it was prescribed in the Old Testament law. Instead, Jesus' teachings often focused on the spiritual principles underlying the law and the importance of love, mercy, and compassion. While Jesus did not specifically command the observance of the Sabbath in the way it was outlined in the Mosaic Law, he did engage in discussions about the Sabbath. For instance, he emphasized that the Sabbath was made for the benefit of humanity and that acts of mercy and goodness should not be restricted by legalistic interpretations of Sabbath laws (Mark 2:23-28). As Christianity developed, and particularly with the teachings of the apostles in the New Testament, the early Christian community shifted the focus from Sabbath observance to the celebration of the Lord's Day, or Sunday, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus. The New Testament does not mandate a specific Sabbath day observance for Christians in the same way as it was outlined in the Old Testament. Instead, the emphasis is often on living in accordance with the teachings of Jesus and the principles of love and grace.

You said you were raised in the catholic church. You are actually still part of it in a very important way.The Catholic Church manipulated and changed the Sabbath.And of course we Glorify God every day, nothing more necessary.But don’t undermine the Sabbath. I could perceive your disdain for Sabbath keepers.
