It's very interesting when we read God's word that Peter and John always competing for Jesus' love. Peter is the rock and pillar of the church too( he always rush into doing thing but love by Jesus too) and John is the love and Son of Thunder for Jesus gave the name Boanerges, that is, Son of Thunder). Jesus understands them( Peter and John or John and Peter ) both in Christ and I also can both too in Christ. everyone has something Jesus named them both for Simon(Rock) become Cephas means Peter. And for John, Jesus gave the name Boanerges, that is, Son of Thunder( Do not mess with the Son of Thunder) in Christ :) yet both of them are loved by Jesus, both came from fishmen families.
