I'm watching this as a man near 50! While I don't disagree with anything Kara is saying here, don't ever let anyone tell you it's too late.

Incredible video! I love how professional and engaging your videos are! I recently turned 29 and I completely agree with you! I'd say I love my job 80% of the time... There are some tasks that I don't like to do, but overall I really enjoy it! A piece of advice I'd give to someone younger than me is "fix your posture and take care of your neck, shoulders and back". Working on computers all the time can create serious problems... I know because I'm suffering the consequences of that now. I'd say put your health before your work because when you're healthy, you can work and achieve more & truly enjoy life

That’s such a good one! I can totally relate to your point! I had issues as well coming out of law school (so many hours hunched over the computer or books). It took like 2 years of chiropractic to fix it. 80%!! That’s awesome 😊 was that from the start or did you get there after a couple years in business? Thank you for watching, really happy to hear you liked the video.

@@karaebelofficial I go to physical therapy every month and do exercises every day to keep the pain away. At the beginning, it was more exhausting because I didn't have any idea what to do, but now I have everything organized and it's much easier. So I can have more fun with it now. Your videos are really incredible for a small channel! Definitely on the level of channels that have over 1M subscribers 👏

@@fluentful_ I'm glad you're taking care of that through PT! That's so important. A lot of people underestimate it and then regret it year later. Thank you!! :) So happy to hear that. Will keep on posting haha!

This is as always is a great video ! (Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat) this is what John Wick's back tattoo says ...and it roughly translate to..Fortune Favors The Brave ... this video made me think about this character..(John Wick played by Keanu Reeves. ) we all have fears but when we face the fear.. it disappears and always lead to the Light !!! One hard lesson for me I learned is to don't do things to impress others.. do things that brings me joy and make my heart tickle !!! I totally agree about the subject of love... sharing values...,dreams ,etc... is the recipe for longevity in any relationship....when people have different values, dreams ,etc... usually don't last ..or they live together in misery... finding the one is very hard..yet if one focus on personal growth..usually that one special person will come easily without any pressure... keep up the great work Kara !!!

Thank you JJ! Really appreciate you sharing your experience 👏 do you remember when was the approximate time you realized that focusing too much on impressing others isn’t the way forward? Mine was definitely leaving big law but I can’t say that it one one single moment. It slowly got clear in my mind over time, as I kept on working a job that often felt like it went against my interests and values (time with family, etc).

Good advise, but don't expect many young women to follow it, in school they teach them to be strong and independent women, not rowing together, so yeah only later in life at they learn that they have been lie to.

If you're thick skinned, I would suggest doing a reprise of this video in regards to the recent US election.
