I've got a friend that has a " girlfriend " in the Philippines. He saw her once when he went to visit there and has known her eight years. He loves her and thinks one day they will be together!! She rings him everyday and he believes she loves him but just cant get to the UK for various reasons! I feel sad for him because its obviously a sham. Totally agree with you. As a white man in China you are automatically given higher status (in modern dating culture it's called "just be white" or JBW). So any woman who is with you gets some kind of a lift in status. When you bring a Chinese person back home to a western country, they realise that you are not so high status, at least compared with other white men. So it's a fall in status for anyone who is with you. Your status declines and you become disposable (but only after you have been financially "harvested". I suppose there's always the possibility that the initial pull is not the be-all-and-end-all e.g. dating a westerner for money, but eventually falling in love with their character. It's like when millionaires are on the dating market; it's hard to judge intentions and spot ulterior motives when such a big discrepancy in power is involved (having money vs. being poor).

Its not only that mate, its gotten to her head, I think that it can cause huge neuroinflammation, some took it and had massive headaches, this happened to my Dad and he didn't make it, it sped up his dementia I believe, and passed within a few weeks, was a zombie immediately after it and was gone. I think its sped up her auto immune problems cause she has Lupus but now she gets inflammation from bed bugs, flea bites and we do get bitten I think but no reaction from the body, but she gets bitten red spots and itchiness, its weird, she also caught the Chinese covid when she went there, so she probably has some form of Chinese Covid remnant and spike protein still active cause of the 'medicine' she got, I think she had 3 of them or was it 2? After the 'medical procedure' or 2nd one and after she came back to the Uk last summer she hasn't been the same and the idea of divorce reared its ugly head, it may have triggered early or perimenopause or something. I didn't get poked mate as well, they kept sending me messages on the phone, kept getting bullied by persons I knew and online

We lived in London until 2014, then took our two children to live in Japan with my wife's mother until she passed away in 2021 (my mother-in-law not my wife!). Had the best 8 years of our collective lives in Japan, then moved back to London in the summer of 2022. My wife is far from perfect, and so am I, but we have such a deep love and connection that I feel blessed beyond my worth. I think that's all there is to it. Luck. And a shitload of compromise.

Took my Thai wife of 14 years back to the US to marry and glad I did. Over a decade she learned the language fluently, made friends, found her foods and built a retail business she ran for years before we recently moved back to Thailand because I wanted to retire here. She gained a great understanding of our culture and that really helped. She became a part of our large family and she had a lot of support that way. We’d visit her family every year. It’s all about the individual. We know a lot of very happy Thai- Asian American couples living in the U.S. and your situation perhaps your wife didn’t adapt quite as well. But that’s not everybody. And I’m 31 years older than her. It’s never been an issue at all. We are still going strong and very happy. Just had our first child together!

Here's my take: Yes, bringing your Asian wife to the West is now well recognised as a danger for all the reasons you state. It's not just you, Gerald, it happens to many, many men. Don't beat yourself up about it; it's not your personal failing but rather it's the situation. Lupus is a pretty serious & incurable disease that definitely affects people mentally too. It's not her fault-if you had it, it would affect you mentally as well. Im 40. My mother is filipino and father is English. 22yr gap between them. I've been reading the comments here and it brought up some bad memories of my childhood. What's been said I have mostly been witness too. We were broke, on the dole after the dockyard was privatised and yet the reality of our financial situation was never grasped by my mum or her family (it is possible my mum never told them). I know the west has a materialistic mentality or the idea of keeping up appearances but Jesus wept, I was always dismayed by how my mums asian friends talked to each other about money/appearance or seemingly trying to out do each other with what they wore at church (don't get me started on catholocism. I was 1 of 5 kids...). Needless to say debt was racked up and our house got blacklisted from littlewoods. Also, being the only ethnic minority for miles around in deep SW, surrounded by council estates with many unemployed back in the 90s wasn't fun. Ive said enough but I'm still a very light sleeper to this day thanks to the regular incidents on our home during the night by our neighbours and their friends.

As a 23 yrs old white man who has spent a good amount of time in thailand, japan, Philippines I figured this was obvious and didn't need to be said. I get more attention and beautiful women in those countries than I ever would in my home country USA, it goes without saying I think that if you bring an asian woman to the west shes going to see that you are not a top of the pack man in your native country and see you for what you really are when you interact with other natives of your country, and eventually lose interest. Act like u want to work it out, then place home in an LLC, under a Trust. That way she can’t claim your home. If she want to leave, bye! Hi Gerald! This subject is interesting and I think it needs to be discussed in more depth with maybe more of the public's own experiences and opinions.....Men in this country marry 'Thai brides' for example, who are usually somewhat younger than their husbands, and men do this for various resons, i.e; being a bachelor for half their life maybe, or needing a woman who will look after them or just because he likes Thai ladies. For lots of these women they maybe living in poverty and have no hope or means of their lives improving, so the offer of meeting an English man who tells them that he can offer a life of love, comfort and security, then usually they will grab that chance because then they have hope. Also if the woman is of child bearing age, they can also have children together and have a long and happy marriage. That man may also pay out for say, medical expenses for her sick mother and buy her family a house because they live in a shack. So it works all round, practically. But none of this will work if the relationship fails at some point or she is unable to live in the culture of the Western world. Take care Gerald.......

Thats all over the colour thing. Even cats do it to each other I had a cat who had different colour kittens and the mum only liked the one that was the same colour as her ginger. What we are living through is a confluence point of a stage of Civilisation that was inevitable.. Society has ran roughshod over our ancestral traditions as it is pinned to crony support mechanisms which are unsustainable and like the U.S.S.R inevitably splinter as the people within start to dislike themselves and others caught up in such chaos. Women are biologically hypergamous due to their natural priority toward nurture, and their partner is not their offspring. This will continue to plague predominantly secular communities and the greater society, where said society isn't bonded by a common faith/tradition. The inevitable debt of an era propped up by cronyism and self-worship is coming to call once again.
