I have seen more things since then and still do to this day. I also used to be obsessed by Dracula and hammer films. As for the meaning of life, unfortunately in this time and state of being, there doesn’t seem to be any meaning of anything at all. I’ve found that my best medicine and freedom from confusion and pain, was to fully accept myself. To be fully true to myself was my way forward from where you appear to be in yourself right now. As for my relationship with my daughter who is now 24. As she grew and became more aware of herself, I had to learn not to attach emotions to my daughter decisions. I found when I did it pushed her further away when I was trying to be more close to her. It hurt so much, but it was my problem to solve and adapt to. Just let them go a bit distant for a while. They need to develop and grow on their own with out nurture sometimes. So she can find her own true nature. You must remain in the background as her father to be there for when she comes back to wanting to be with you again. It will happen I promise you. She will come back 100%. Don’t take things personally until she does return. I don’t have many friends out of choice, or a girlfriend. I’m quite happy like that. I had to go through a lot of pain to find that out. Please keep talking, nothing on this planet has more healing powers than talking. Keep recording and keep talking. Record every day. Keep talking. I will be listening.

Maybe I should travel a bit more, maybe I should have kids, I ask myself lots of questions like this, wondering what I should do to get the most out of this life, not sure what the answer is either. I see my friends having kids and not wanting to meet up anymore so starting to feel like my social life isn't what it was, lots of changes which I have to accept and there will be bigger changes to come. All we can do is keep moving forward and trying to enjoy the process. Cherish times spent with your loved ones. A few of my relatives have passed away and I'd give almost anything to see them again. Just go out for another meal with them and have a conversation. Life is rubbish sometimes, but it can also be beautiful at other times.

As far as your purpose you have one. When I died I was told I could stay or I could come back and fulfill my purpose. For some reason I chose to come back but I honestly have never figured out what my purpose is either. I do find though that one we love others and we help others there's something that happens within us that changes. Pray for the Holy Spirit to help you through this part of your life. Every moment counts but in the end of this life we don't die but we transition. We will look back and hopefully there will be no regrets. More poverty followed and my mother remarried a sociopath. He only showed his true mental illness after she paid for their wedding. He hated my 3 sisters and me and told my mother to evict us. He killed my dog while I was away trying to earn a living. He attempted to molest me when no one was at home - I fought him off but was too ashamed to tell my mother. Years later he committed suicide after my mum left the home due to him refusing to work and becoming an alcoholic who tormented her. Now I’m in a job I no longer enjoy due to bullying. On top of that my lying husband has betrayed me and it’s difficult to get past it. This has overwhelmed me into sick leave from work due to anxiety and severe depression. I sometimes more often than not, feel the same.Diagnosed with lymphoma 2 years ago,in remission now. But,when you face death, you find a fighting spirit.Despite any shit life throws at you, fight on,live on,rage against it.I have no friends, divorced, my 20 year old son lives with me,and yes i sometimes wonder if i should have had treatment. But being ex military,i fight on and take no shit. Please dont fear death, you cant avoid it,none of us can.I will probably end up in a hospice, but as long as there is a caring nurse to gently ease my way off this world, then thats ok.I really hope there is an afterlife.Keep going my friend.

I’m telling all who will listen I had an NDA yrs ago before ppl were interested. It wasn’t painful I immediately knew what was happening and I chose to return. I’m not any wiser to what that was all about but maybe one reason is that I would tell you folks on here about it???

Yes Johnathan, I was as a child scared of death like this guy, had a terrible childhood, violence etc. But then as a frightened scared child i found judo. I went on to train for 40 yes in martial arts, karate, boxing to name a few. This has taught me to fight and never give in, a mental strength I never thought I could have. So scared of death doesn't even come into it! I can understand this guy, but know that, there are far more bad things in life ,then in death.

Hello Gerald. You are not wrong and not alone. Many times, I have the same feelings and contemplations about life. I find consolation in helping my children and family with their lives. I also find meaning in reconnecting with old friends and in the excitement in reading and learning about the wonders of the universe. It also helps me to have a hobby that gives me hope to continue doing it. Best regards from Los Angeles CA, United States

You've just discovered, in this video, exactly what you need to do. You need to find a compelling purpose. Something that makes you excited to get up in the morning that doesn't depend on someone else. This will give you some joy and energy and which can then ignite a better life.

I have had the same thoughts after selling everything and going around Australia. Now settled on the east coast. I finally worked out, that I needed a connection with nature to exist, and also a connection at times with people, as crazy as some are. I also think that the meaning of life is not trying to find the meaning of life. Exist in the moment.

I think there is a time in most peoples lives where the become aware of their existence and wonder what life all about. I'm 75 now but my life changed for ever when I was 19 and trying to grasp what life is about because It put me in a deep depression that took 2 years to recover from and left me with a mental illness which I’ve just recently resolved. With me, I knew at an early age I was different from other people, but it wasn't until I was 50 that I was diagnosed with Autism, that explained everything. I'm still a deep thinker but now I've learned to live with it and not let it effect me emotionally. I used to fear death, but after 20 years of studding NDE’s and reincarnation, I now believe the mind is separate from the brain (the mind is in another dimension and survives death). I could go into the physics of it, but maybe another time.

You are intelligent, honest, wise and compassionate. Whats crazy is how you have undermined your own thought processes for so long that you self sabotage. Accept the truth of what you say then rid your life of all the people that gaslight you, and the media and the family that undervalue and deride you.

I feel with you man. Im only 30 but my past 15 years have been full of depression and anxiety, fear of death of future, the reason why I exist. It got to a point when I attempted what I always avoided by the end of last year. I try to see everything a bit more lightly since that day but man it ain't easy. Some worries come and go, I also don't have any friends outside of my family, the only friend I've had moved away yrs ago and ever since contact is rare and only online, majority of my life is online and somehow it's this modern life. Constantly I have the fear of missing out on living life due to worries and my personality "schizoid characteristics" that have been diagnosed in rehab last year. One part of me is enjoying to be alone and the other is seeking for a purpose, meaning, company of some sort. I hope I make some sense with anything I say, I thought of creating a similar channel to you, to talk about my experience with mental health issues throughout all these years but I also don't want people to be bored of my shit in life. Anyways thanks for being so open about your feelings and sharing it with the world here, stay strong, you are one hell of a man inside. ❤

Yes, pls do start up a channel, it's cheaper than therapy. if I had the money I'd pay for some therapy, here in the UK on the NHS the therapy I was offered was rubbish, I spoke to a 'counselor' who wasn't very qualified, and the vibe I got was that he was going through the motions and detached, I started talking about being on Seroxat and didn't even know what I was on about, other things he also didn't know and I had to explain what they were such as Hedonic adaptation .. again silence, and many things that didn't click. I can't talk to anybody about this stuff, they'll think Im nuts. So, I started talking here and it seems KZbin has pushed these videos and thankfully you've seen it and I get to talk to you, sorry you had to go through, I assume 'deletion' issues, man that's bad ... when my dad passed within the first 4 days that hit me and was so frightening I felt overwhelmed with this bad feeling of, but too much of chicken to go through with it, thank God, but the pull was horrible and frightening at the same time. You seem like a cool guy, made your vids, I'll subscribe.

@@gerofiore9695If their is no God, life is ultimately meaningless. We all rot in the ground. But, if Jesus spoke the truth when he said i am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except by me, then their is meaning and a purpose in life. Jesus said, to love God with all your heart soul mind and strength obeying him, and love your neighbour as yourself. Their is then meaning, purpose, and ultimately hope beyonnd this life on earth, as their is eternal life to come to all who put their faith amd trust in him.

I hear you bud, hold on. Life will get better. Ive gone through similar struggles. I tried going to church and started reading a bible and it has actually helped me alot. If you dont already it may be a good shout to try seeking him (Jesus). Also the community of people are really friendly at churches. I also find making more time for my hobbies like fishing helped me clear my head, now I am not sure what will help you specifically but you could also try joining a fishing club? I am not great with advice, but I wanted to comment to show you I and others hear you and support you.

Thank you for uploading... I have a similar experience, since early childhood when I got conscious of death I was kind of "traumatized"... I couldn't believe people were living regular lives knowing that they would die one day... I used to think that science would advance in time to avoid my death, but never tried to make an elixir 😅... Time goes on, I'm 45 years old now and I don't believe it will happen... I lost my mom and granny... I miss them every day of my life... I'm single and childfree... I enjoy my life, but it's kind of crazy to think in our situation as human beings, knowing that we will die one day... And we don't know if there's something after death...

Mate. Your simply starting to listen to yourself. Your being honest and your depression is your motivation to make a change. I'd you don't act on it, you will go crazy. Because you will hate yourself. You need to love yourself and that comes with ownership. Forgive yourself. Move on. Take a risk and start again.

Life is so ironic. We think we are alone or lonely yet we all share the same thoughts and feelings (in different ways). But we find ways to communicate with each other because we are not meant to be on our own. Echart Tolle went through a very unhappy time then said to himself "I can't live with myself any more", which struck him as strange and meaning there must be two of "us" to think like that. This led to him finding a better life in the present. The past and future do not exist, only what is in the moment.

We as a culture tend to be too fixated on our exterior circumstances, enjoying life is a fine art, forget the past and the future and find that feeling within yourself that you had when you was young. It's still there as it is not subject to change through time, we have just forgotten what the music of life sounds like.
@brandonlee73826 ай бұрын
True we forgotten what keeps us entertained and what led us to this point. When you look back at life it feels like you only remember a handful of things and all the days feel like a blur and gaps in memory.
