Im a Noahide. Left xtianity 6 years ago after 30 years. Never been happier. I heard a funny joke. A Catholic priest and a rabbi are friends. The priest becomes a bishop, rhen a cardinal and finally Pope! The rabbi asks him why he didn't go all the way and become the Lord himself! The priest said but that's impossible! The rabbi said "Really? One of our boys did!" 😆 But seriously i listen to rabbi Singer at least once a day. Bless this learned rabbi. Hes tryly a gift. ❤

This global king forever mentioned as Dha Wod ذا ود , which means "Beloved one", even in Hebrew. He can be then with any person name, loved by the Lord (Beloved One: Dha Wod): David) !. The Tanakh does not mention explicitly that he (exactly him the Messiah) will be from David house. That prophecy is not precise and any community could claim their Prophet leader as the "Beloved one" ! 🙂

Dear caller. I was born and raised in Christianity. I was so passionate; so letting it go was hard. But I was discovering one thing after another in the NT that totally contradicted the OT. So I'm thinking, why did they attach the NT to the Hebrew Bible if they are not going to believe or follow what God says in it? There is no way the NT can be true, and the OT not be true. But if the OT is true, and Christians say it is, then the NT can't be true. It is so clear; and once you see truth, you can't unsee it. What Tovia said, about jettison what Christianity taught you, he is right. It wasn't easy for me to do that, but once i did, once I stopped reading the old Testament with the lies of Christianity, then I was able to see God's word in its fulness like nothing I've ever seen before. It was like my mind, my heart and my soul was circumcised of all lies and the light of truth could be seen. Reading tenach and only tenach is the only way you can see and understand what GOD has kindly revealed to us. I pray you will. Amen and Godspeed.

You are completely right. It is such a relief to see through it and finally be free of it, isn't it? There is only one truth, and it is clear and self-evident. As soon as you need to apply any 'apologetics' or 'hermeneutics', or this or that in order to explain contradictions or holes in Christian doctrine it takes you further away from the truth. You just feel 'this is not it'. You are are right, there is no intellectual or spiritual glue on earth that will make the OT and the NT stick together in one clear and consistent message in one Bible that you could call the word of God. The 2 simply don't fit together. Kudos to you for seeing through this. I know how much courage and love for God it takes when you come from a Christian background (I myself was raised in the Catholic and Orthodox Christian homes of my paternal and maternal grandparents who were very serious believers). May Hashem bless you 🤗

@savtamarlene It takes a lot of knowledge and courage as no one around you will believe you or share your views and insights. And those are the 2 main groups a Christian will be surrounded by when he/she starts waking up. Can be a very lonely place. A] The mashiach of hebrew scripture will be a PATERNAL (not maternal) descendant of David (Isaiah 11 verse 1&10, Jeremiah 33 verse 15-18, Ezekiel 34 verses 23&24, Ezekiel 37 verse 24&25, Amos 9 verses 11&12, Hoseah 3 verse 5, 2Samuel 7 verse 16, Psalms 89 verses 4&5, Psalm 89 verses 34-38, Psalms 18 verse 51, Jeremiah 33 verses 20-26). *Genealogy in the Bible is only passed down from father to son, (Numbers 1 verse 18).* Not having a biological father from the direct family tree (isaiah 11:1) of Jesse and David disqualifies a person from any claim of being the mashiach of hebrew scripture. B] The mashiach of hebrew scriptures brings the Jewish people from all over the world-wide exiles back to the land of israel (isaiah 11 verses 11&12, ezekiel 37 verses 24&25, deuteronomy 30 verse 3, jeremiah 30 verse 3, jeremiah 32 verse 37, ezekiel 11 verse 17, ezekiel 36 verse 24, Ezekiel 20 verses 41&42). In the time of jesus the jews were in the land, he did not help them conquer their enemies as mashiach is supposed to (numbers 24 verses 17-19) and were exiled from israel shortly after, the total opposite of what the prophets revealed the true mashiach will do. C] The mashiach of hebrew scriptures ushers in a utopian world of peace, where there will no longer be any wars (Zechariah 9 verse 10 [ps. Note, verse 10 is a direct continuation of verse 9 which christians claim was already fulfilled...yet he didn't fulfill the verse that it goes right into, verse 10?...], Isaiah 2 verses 1-4, Micha 4 verses 1-4, Hoseah 2 verse 20, Isaiah 60 verse 18). jesus did not bring world peace, the opposite is true, how much unnecessary loss came through the crusades and the likes all in the name of jesus. D] The mashiach of hebrew scripture brings the entire jewish nation back to full observance of the Torah (Ezekiel 37 verse 24, all the same time periods of Ezekiel 11 verses 19&20, ezekiel 36 verses 26&27, Deut 30 verses 8&10, Jeremiah 31 verse 32). jesus in the NT disobeys the temple authorities in violation of Deut 17 verses 10-13, he and his men pluck wheat stalks on the shabbat day, a violation of shabbat (numbers 15 verses 32-36), he claims that divorce isn't allowed and that it is forbidden to marry after divorce, while the torah says otherwise, thus adding and/or subtracting from the Torah's laws (Deut 4:2, deut 13:1), he gives prophecies that didn't come true, such as "not one stone of this temple will be left ontop of another" and yet the western outer wall stands tall and deep into the temple mount till today [and yes theres archeological proof that it is infact the western outer wall of the temple], he said more than once "none of this generation shall taste death before you see the full kingdom come" did not happen, giving a failed prophecy according to the torah makes him a false prophet and viable to the D penalty (Deut 18 verses 20-22), and jesus def did not cause for Jewish people to embrace the torah, instead he caused a major rift and didn't observe the laws himself. E] Mashiach of Hebrew scripture emerges at a time where there is universal knowledge of God (Isaiah 11 verse 9, which is a parallel to chavakuk 2 verse 14, Zechariah 8 verses 20-23, zechariah 14 verse 9 & verse 16, Isaiah 66 verse 23, isaiah 45 verse 23, ezekiel 38 verse 23, zephanya 3:9). The amount of statues there are of jesus and mary, oh boy, how the negligence of one pompous man caused for a third of the worlds population into all diff forms of polytheism and idolatry... F] Mashiach of hebrew scripture reigns leader at a time when the 3rd ever lasting temple is standing forever (Ezekiel 37 verses 24-28 which is the same exact end of days temple of Isaiah 2, of zechariah 14 verses 20&21, of Malachi 3 verse 4, of Isaiah 56 verse 7, of Isaiah 60 verse 7, of Isaiah 66 verse 20, Ezekiel 20 verse 40) where the mashiach himself prepares flour and animal offerings at its inaguration (Ezekiel 45 verse 17, the same exact prince/נשיא of Ezekiel 37 verse 25). The way God made sure no jew can ever make a claim of illegitimacy against a Jewish king was by commanding a prophet to anoint that king with the sacred anointing oil (exodus 30 verses 25-30) as He commanded Samuel to do to Saul (1samuel 10 verse 1), and to David (1samuel 16 verse 13), and as Tzadok the High priest and nathan the prophet did to King Solomon (1kings 1 verse 34). The mashiach is called "mashiach" (literally "anointed") because Elijah the prophet is supposed to anoint him with the sacred anointing oil as King over the Jewish people. God, who will split the ocean in order to convince when He wishes to convince, has NO PROBLEM making the jewish people believe someone is or isnt their next king, He did so for Saul, David, Solomon, the priests, all to remove any claim of illegitimacy by any jew. The Creator DID NOT DO SUCH for the christian man-diety, something so simple, and no. The jews did not "reject" jesus, the Creator did. That's the truth.

I could not agree more to what you say, Rabbi Singer, about learning Hebrew in order to experience the 'delisciousness' of Torah. As a lost soul emerging out from under the thumb of xitanity I find that by reading a translation, no matter how sincerely it was done, I only know it from the perspective of the xtian influence of each word. I've listened to other Rabbi's as they teach the Torah to the world via the internet (real Rabbis I must add that I've vetted) and what they teach about a passage is so different and so clear compared what the xtian teaches, which always does have that twisted agenda even when it seems to beinnocent. I'm 68 years of age and you have inspired me to learn Hebrew so that I may find the wisdom and 'delisciousness' of the Word of God as meant that time in the Sinai. Dearest Rabbi, you mentioned that when the messiah comes, there would be world peace, and the knowledge of God would be known by the whole world, and that diversity of religions would be ceased, wars would be totally stopped, and the dead would rise and so on. Though these are mentioned in the Tanakh, yet, there are numerous other prophetic statements in the same book which also tell us that: 1) when the Messiah appears (as a Baha’i I believe he has already appeared and gone) the world’s condition would be dismal, and 2) occurrences such as world peace, world justice, and so on would involve an evolutionary and gradual transformation of individual human beings and the whole fabric of society through the colossal teachings of the Messiah. Such a worldview is not only scriptural and in par with Tanakh’s predictions, but also rational and practical. As great as Moses and the prophets were, no one can deny the fact that still it’s taken thousands of years just for the jewish people to realize what’s Tanakh really teachings and such transformation was not immediate but was a process and still is, because many Jewish brothers and sisters have different interpretations of Tanakh which are not compatible with each other. So it is completely impractical to think that when the messiah comes there would be an immediate world peace and justice and so on in the entire world. As a Baha’i we believe the promised Messiah has already come and gone and the blue print for the future civilization which will be ruled by peace, justice and righteousness have been given by Bahá’u’lláh and this is a process that both Bahais and many many other members of the human family from every national, ethic, and religious background imaginable are working towards to. The blue print is here and has been given to humanity already. But to think that the Messiah will show up and will just drop the world peace and world justice in our lap immediately would be an imaginary thinking. One of the biggest lessons from Tabakh is that God had revealed his teachings and will to humanity gradually. The word "gradual" is the key. Even the process of creation took days and was not instantaneous. There are numerous proofs in Tabakh about this. The law of creation involves gradual unfoldment in time and just as it is impossible to separate fire from heat or water from wetness, it is also impossible to separate Hashem's spiritual teachings from the necessary "law" of the-gradual-process in time. Tanakh, in its broadest principles is a divinely revealed book about this inevitable universal law of the-gradual-process which must involve time.

I am not questioning Isaiah 11:9 as it is spoken; rather, in the horrible world we live in today, with the majority of the world abandoning any belief in our Creator Yahuah, how will this world transform from its current ways to the entire world "Filled with the knowledge of Yahuah?" The "Church" has been VERY effective in REMOVING our Creator's ways from all humanity's thoughts; how can it ever be converted BACK to our Creator Father's comprehension and ways? This will, in my opinion, require more of a miracle than the world has ever seen.

I strongly distrust Isaiah. His lamentations were valid, but his prophecies never came to pass. Was he right to call Koresh/Cyrus theGreat a Messiah? He sure did a lot for Israel, but he wasn't a descendant of Judah & Tamar, nor was he from the "stump of Jesse," so he wasn't qualified, just like the Maccabees/Hasmoneans. (And neither was Jesus.) Messiah is a faulty idea that should have never been pursued, since the Israelites already had a king -- See 1 Samuel 8:7-18.

So yes, Jesus and Muhammad are among the Meshichim and have nothing to do with the covetous rulers who almost stole/changed their teachings after their departure. I meant the Roman emperors and the so called Rashidun Caliphs respectively. Same applies to the kings who ruled Israel and Judah after Yedidyah ben David. Imam Mahdi/Moshiach HaMelech is the latter’s great great grandson by his mother’s side and Muhammad’s great great grandson by his father’s side. I invite you to read more about him.

There are commandments of fringes on four-cornered garments, and phylacteries placed on hand and head, but there is no explanation of how these are to be produced or how they are to be worn. There is also a mandate of ritual slaughter that renders kosher species of animals permissible for Jewish consumption, but there are no instructions for how this is to be performed. Of course the world is not redeemed, Moshiach has not RETURNED yet. Was Israel redeemed in Egypt when Moshe slew the Egyptian who mistreated the Israelite slaves? Of course not, Moshe was betrayed by the very kinsman Moshe helped, that's right betrayed by Israelite's, dying to the life Moshe knew in Egypt, and Israel remained in bondage for forty more years. Until Moshe RETURNED, in the authority and power of GOD, you shall be as GOD ", not GOD, but AS GOD! Moshe prophesied that a prophet like him was sure to come, and that the Israelite's should listen to HIM. The question here is, has someone LIKE Moshe come to Israel. Tovia you can try and say there have been prophets great and small, that fit the description, but none fit the description of the Moshiach Jeshua better, than the ONE greater than Moshe. Remember Moshe said LIKE HIM. Moshe was born to an Israelite mother in the water birth common to all, but because of fear of the child being aborted by the Egyptians wove a basket of reeds, an Ark, and Moshes sister released Moshe into the FALLOPIAN TUBE OF THE NILE. Coming to rest on the bank of the Nile amongst the reeds and was heard crying by a young Egyptian Princess virgin and her handmaids. Upon seeing Moshe, and loving the child, took Moshe as her own and mothered him as an Egyptian, though Moshe had life before having been born of Jochebed an Israelite. "A PROPHET LIKE ME", so it is with Moshiach Jeshua who was sent by the FATHER to Israel, a portion of Moshiachs being, and recreated Moshiach in the womb of a young Judaen VIRGIN and released into this world through the FALLOPIAN TUBE of Miriam a descendant of David, in the water birth. Like Moshe, Moshiach was mothered and raised as a Jew by a woman who was not his mother for Moshiach had life before all creation, " before the Daystar I have begotten you ". Think Israel, today science has the technology to place a fetus in a host mother not related to the child and bring the child into the world in the water birth. Is not all things possible with our GOD !!! Moshe, and Jeshua were both alien to the surroundings of there upbringing. Both suffering a death to the life they knew, one in Egypt figuratively, ONE in Judah literally, both rejected by Israelite's. "A PROPHET LIKE ME", Moshe after betrayed by Israel is called by GOD after forty years, and sent to confront Pharaoh in the power of GOD, to REDEEM the twelve tribes of Israel from slavery and death in Egypt, FOREVER ! Guess what? GOD through Moshe succeeded! Like Moshe, Moshiach as " GOD HERO, WONDER COUNSELOR, PRINCE OF PEACE UPON WHOSE SHOULDER DOMINION RESTS ", will RETURN to REDEEM not just Israel but the whole world from SLAVERY TO DEATH, FOREVER!!!!!!! After these two thousand years, not as GOD, but GOD ONE with the FATHER, only the FATHER is greater than Moshiach, the ONE who is " if my servant gives HIS life as an offering for sin HE shall see HIS descendants in a long life " ETERNAL LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!! They shall call him Emmanuel, " GOD with us ". Guess what GOD THROUGH MOSHIACH SUCCEEDS AGAIN. Next: The true REBIRTH, HOW RARE---- The TWO ANOINTED, are you interested ? Shalom

Jesus by his own testimony was sent by the Almighty with signs and words of power which he exercised in the midst of them but he was rejected and killed. The Almighty knew of this rejection and destroy the power of Satan against humanity by allowing Jesus to be tortured and killed. Jesus being a righteous man, did not deserve death, therefore his death served to atone for the sins of humanity so that his righteousness is able to be applied to us for the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus's death gave the Almighty the freedom to forgive those who come closer to Him. Jesus is coming back as prophesied in Daniel 2, but this time he will come back to take over the world and to be king of Israel as prophesied by the angel Gabriel when he spoke to Mary about the son of God to be born our of her womb.

fcastellanos etc: "... by his own testimony ..." - Do you have access to texts written by "Jesus"? This character is no different from the many hucksters who preceded him and who have come since. In fact, the poor man may not even be responsible for the foolishness that has been associated with him since a few decades after his alleged death. But let us be clear about something very important. There is NO good, credible, extra-biblical, contemporary evidence that "Jesus", as described in the New Testament, actually existed. None. See if you can find some. You have been misled, as so many of us were.

Jews have been keeping records of their ancestry, all the way back to creation. Same with the calendar - time didn't just start with the "Jesus" character! We are now in the year 5784 on the Hebrew calendar - NOT 2024, like the secular Gregorian calendar we're forced to follow by society. There was time BEFORE the "Jesus" character came along! I started to think about this even before I left Christianity - it seemed only logical.

@@janishart5128 in academia there were jews that denied they authentically preserved moses revealed torah, rather assert it is a collection of writings of different schools, stitched together, yahwist, elohist, priestly etc, in its history there were transmission breaks, anachronisms, and it is highly unlikely they kept authenticated genealogical documentation of every Jew, let alone back to Adam.
