Never realized fashion designers would use a sketchbook! This is a really fascinating tour of the thought process in your project and was really cool to see!! Wonderful to see how artists of differing disciplines use their sketchbooks.

as a fellow fashion student I totally relate to what you meant by pre uni sketchbook vs when yiu started you uni. tbh my sketchbook now looks the same as yours and i just stop calling them sketch book and call them ideal book instead. and btw I really hope people find this video because i'm so sick and tired of the "youtube" idea of sketchbook and nowlooking back at my old sketchbook from pre uni day, it is just lack of character and uninteresting

Yeah, not much sketching happening in a fashion sketchbook, is there 😄. Idea book sound more appropriate. I even feel embarrassed of my old pre-uni sketchbooks cuz back then all I did was copy other artists’ work and that is not okay. And yeah, it can help someone develop their own artistic style but I now realise that experimenting with layers of process, techniques and mediums is the best way for me. Thank you so much! If you ever feel like it post your sketchbook tour as well! I’m sure yours is very exciting to look at with an actual concept and a unique thought process.

Wow, thank you so much for this video! It's super interesting and inspiring to see and hear about your entire thought process. I tend to flit from one idea to another, and I feel like this way of working might help to keep me on one topic for lpnger. Also, it seems like the perfect way to collect all those vague ideas and tangents that may inspire me later on. So I really have to give that a try. But apart from all of that, it was just so interesting to learn all about your journey and get an insight into how your mind works.
