@@SPINNINGMYWHEELS777If you knew anything about Jesus and God, you would know all humans are born with the original sin and all humans are bad by nature. They all sin. That's the point. If you think you aren't a hypocrite, liar, cheater, etc then you know nothing about your own religion. Infact you are displaying signs of " Pride" the most deadly sin. Repent.

We are not all hypocrites so that’s a lie. You may start out as one but that doesn’t mean you will end that way. Unfortunately most do because they will not take criticism because “who are you to judge me” mentality. Well you will find out when you die then, doesn’t bother me a bit.

Man I wrote a children’s book about 8yrs ago called Young Spartacus: Virtues of a Warrior. I sent it to Elliott and he actually responded to me saying how he read it to his son and that he liked it. I’ve fallen away from my dreams since then and gave up the nonjob mentality after I didn’t see immediate success. But last few months I’ve been working on my fitness and this video has me thinking about achieving my dreams again. Thanks for the video as always Elliott. Inspiring.

Seems like these comments are a big shoutout to elliots affect on their life so I'd like to mention that I'm 23 now, finding myself going back to elliot all over again but I've been following since 2012 when I was 11 and his advice through mind, body, and spirituality have helped me in every step of a not so easy life. Thank you elliot for always questioning, always aiming for something better, always learning and teaching those topics. I'm not the most successful but I like to believe I have a good grasp on living a fulfilling life and a lot of that is from reaching for goals inspired by you but enforced by the fact I see myself in you, through the cycles, years, decades, stages of life(both mental and physical). Thank you elliot hulse for trying in each and every moment to share your learnings with a younger generation

I find it harder to watch Shaman Elliott honestly because I subscribed years ago because you were a strong manly male figure to idol. You got me loving deadlifting. I feel like 2 channels are definitely needed...this one for strength and another for faith.

Yo Elliot, I've been deeply inspired by your authenticity and the human spark you radiate, which has always resonated with me. To label you a hypocrite would not only be incorrect but also unjust, given the profound impact you've had on my life. Since 2012, I've been an ardent follower, and it feels as though our journeys have been aligned, experiencing similar seasons of growth and transformation. Your discussions and insights have mirrored my own path, creating a sense of parallel evolution. Reading your book "King" was a pivotal moment for me, especially during a challenging phase of rehabilitating from alcohol addiction. The perspectives and wisdom shared within its pages were instrumental in reshaping my outlook on life. This influence was so significant that I felt compelled to share it with my now young adult children, gifting them "King, Magician, Warrior, Lover" in hopes they too would find the guidance and inspiration I did. Your continued work and contributions have been invaluable, and I eagerly anticipate witnessing the further evolution of your journey. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration and for the impact you've made on my life and the lives of many others. With sincere gratitude, An E. Hulse OG Fan

Joining you on fasting Uncle E! Love all of your recent content, its an honor to go with you along the twists and turns of life. One suggestion: would change the name of the 'black fast bodybuilding' program to have more of the spirit that you presented in this video. The black fast is not about 'building' ourselves but about stepping back and letting God edify us in the spirit. Keep up the good work, Christ is King!

Elliot when I was a kid I looked up to you and today being 24 nothing has changed. You taught me so much about how to be a real man. How to conquer adversity. Just know not just me did your words affect but many members of my family. I remember being in a dark place when I was dosed by a person who was supposed to be my friend. After that I felt like i was gonna die. I felt like I lost a piece of myself. And then when I was tripping out and struggling to come to terms that I was alive I watched your 1 million subscriber special and it allowed me to have a piece of what reminded me of who I was. I feel like as a society sometimes we focus too much on being introspective and don’t understand how harmful it can be.

I’ve been watching you since I was 16, Elliot. I’m 31 in two weeks’ time. Not only were you one of the original members of what I would call the KZbin fitness golden age, you were one of, if not the first, progenitor of male archetypes and spiritual wisdom in this new digital space. You were addressing an unmet need in men long before this new wave of masculine development within podcasting captured millions of new and enquiring minds. As I reflect on your contributions in light of his brilliantly self-aware and humble video, I can’t help but be reminded of the old adage - “the original is still the best.” Thanks for your work.

Hey man, I watched you working out and learned how to improve the form of my lifts as well as many other things. You exposed your flaws to us and let us learn from you as well. I have since developed many mentors myself which wasn't really a concept I was used to back then, some of whom recently died and now I carry their principles. I must have watched your deadlift videos specifically 20x each improving my deadlift and for many years got motivated by your videos. I own my own deadlift equipment etc now. I also learned a lot such as the discipline involved in lifting being more important than the weight itself; we were training our minds for strength. As you often lead by example we learned that somtimes you need to do flexibility work to deal with imbalances etc. Perhaps some of us also learned that you need to be willing to lead with what makes sense to you individually even if your local gymbro or girlfriend criticises you. To lead, you must be prepared to walk alone. I think every viewer listened to your advice and tried to better themselves in one way or another which is a constant journey. I met people on my travels through Scadinavia who knew of your concepts and applied them. If you're feeling like you weren't living up to your best version think of the countless people that were inspired around the world and added years on to their lives by getting in better shape. Isn't that using one of the most powerful tools in the world, the internet, to empower countless men around the world as we are attacked everyday left & right for being men? I'm not perfect - nobody is. I messed up and put on stubborn weight the last few years with covid etc but eventually we all find that traction and get moving again as I have achieved recently with weight loss. That is just life and we can do better next time, just never give up. Cheers!

Thanks Elliot. I appreciate what you've said and I'm grateful for your words, - The part about 'forcing Vs allowing' and pride / control. - In my experience / experiences ' Falling / Breaking ' I've tried to force myself to repair; get back to a point- a version of myself that no longer can exist. Health; physical and mental tied together are very important.. I'll have to watch again. I feel I've been through many versions of myself, and never happy, like there's always something else, and this is not good enough; I want to allow myself to acknowledge where I am and the progress I have made, so I Can make the next steps, instead of 2 steps forward 3 steps back (or being stuck in the same spot for years) - not huge into the religion type stuff, but it is great to see your perspective and sort of translation or explaining (your way) -- thanks again!!

One of my favorite quotes is "Aim for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." You were, in my mind, the moon. You gave me a target and motivated me to strive towards it. And somewhere deep down, I knew you weren't perfect or that you did everything you taught. You even made a video back then that told your viewers not to put you on a pedestal because you already knew the truth deep down. I don't care if you didnt live up to your own perfection. You gave the world a symbol to strive towards. The symbol might have been false when all was said and done, but the progress I've made in my life because of your inspiration simply wouldn't have been there if the Elliot I met was not the confident powerful symbol that you had created. We all fall short of the glory of God. Bless you Elliot. You've touched countless lives.

We will always have things to fix, it's a journey not a destination. You ignited a hunger in me to become the best me. I agree that integrity is key. We all slip up we all fall of the path but let's not spiral and throw all of the trophies in the trash. When I look back at my life you were instrumental in completely changing the trajectory of my life. I never followed you but what you stood for. Doesn't mean what we did was wrong necessarily, but rather it means we are learning. The more disgusted you are with sin and the way we live, the more it proves that Jesus is growing you, maturing you.... Moving you from glory to glory. We are all hypocrites brother. Growing is what matters. I started watching you in 2013 you've helped me in many ways. Interesting timing, I have recently been having the same reflections/epiphany. May I recommend two books to you brother Elliott? They are both written by Robin Amis, an Esotericist who later converted to Christianity (Orthodoxy to be specific). He travelled to Mount Athos and met St. Paisios. The holy Elder gave him the task of understanding and telling the world of the inner truth, the truth of the heart. Robin Amis would then end up visiting Mount Athos over 60 times being taught by the holy Elders on Mount Athos, and he was recognized as a fellow worker and equal of the monks. This task that St. Paisios gave him resulted in a masterful book called "A Different Christianity". I highly recommend it to you, or anyone really, but you especially. Many things you've said in this video and others in general remind me of some things in this book. The second book by him is called "Holy Hesychia: The Stillness that Knows God". I would recommend reading this after reading "A Different Christianity". With Lent approaching, I believe these books will greatly benefit your spiritual walk. Peace be with you.

It sounds like youre in a good place, look forward to seeing where you go from here. I dont follow any particular religion but am also finding the power in things like fasting. I have been struggling with food addiction and overeating. Recently I completely overdid it, think i ripped my stomach or some shit lol....ended up unable to sleep or eat for two days. At the end of it i was in this crazy place... completely empty stomach and intestines but no hunger, hadnt slept in days but not tired...then i drank a glass of real fruit juice and got so high...lol...since then i have voluntarily just been eating smart and im thinking about doing another fast soon, on my own terms.

My opinion as someone who's watched a lot of Your content in the past; only the strongest Men can be aware of and talk about their vulnerabilities openly and then deal with them. Difference is I've never ever ever seen You play the victim not once and I know You never will, You're not wired like that. You're the guy who solves OTHER People's problems on top of Your own that's STRONG. It takes courage to actually be comfortable and be able to deal with Your flaws and difficult circumstances and recognise when something isn't right. Because everyone has weaknesses and flaws. People who pretend they're infallible, and completely perfect.. are essentially a Narcissist or Psychopath and incorrect. Not for nothing You've taught me a lot of life lessons over the years and stellar fitness advice that You don't hear about in the bodybuilding World as much, even less so 8-10 years ago particularly about posture and balancing the muscles. I remember watching You in my early 20's and Your knowledge stuck with Me. I've come back to Your videos since then, and especially more recently now You're uploading these days. All the best mate You are a smart, resilient and charismatic empathetic strong dude. There's no doubting that no matter what You look like or how old You get. Salute and thankyou for sharing Yourself with us Bro.

I’m in. Been listening to you for 14 years. I don’t think it is just a “happenstance” that I’ve heard the verse from Matthew 17:21 numerous times the last 2 weeks.

Shoot this resonates so much. I was a personal trainer and MMA instructor for 10 years. I got so sick and tired of maintaining an image of peak performance and health. So much weight fell off my shoulders but then I also fell into a darkhole of getting fat and out of shape. Realizing that pressure was actually the fuel to be in tip top shape. Why is that? Perhaps I wasnt training for me, but was training for admiration, acceptance, to have a sense of ego driven form of authority. Now I'm getting back at it, but for no other reason but to be able to do the sport that I love with up and comers who are going through the fire I once did 15 years ago

Stars don't just "burn out" my friend. They explode into space leaving the impact of their explosion upon areas of the universe that their light as a star may never have even reached. In their place the core of their essence settles as the white dwarf. Keep shining!

Elliott you made videos that helped a lot of people including myself for years. Thank you for that. I would never fault you for not being perfect and if there is a god he would consider you perfect and fine just as you are. Take it easy on yourself and don't judge yourself too harshly. 🙂👊

Yo @Elliott. I've been watching your channel since 2012 I think ( don't quite remember ). I was 18-19. I was somewhat lost back then and your Yo Elliott videos gave me some perspectives which really helped. When you're in a struggle, having someone you don't know encourage you, gives you that extra little bit of fuel to help you not fall deeper into your own exasperation and make bigger mistakes that are harder to recover from. I am now almost 30 and I do have one thing that I've learned from you which stuck with me my whole life. "Winners have the habbit of doing whatever they have to do whenever they have to do it, regardless if they feel like it or not" I now have a big ass house, I'm financially ok, a nice life and a nice job. It's not all because of you, but let's put it this way: If it weren't for you and for a few others like you to keep me sane, I could've made some mistakes back then and might've never recovered. Anyway, I wasn't a fan of your Shaman and Spiritual videos, but these new types of videos I like. Very similar to the Yo Elliott videos. One last thing: You could argue that you were a hypocrite in a very philosophical manner and all people would put up a persona is certain situations and I do get the idea, but I do think that's far stretched in practical terms. Since you've helped me, here's some advice from me to you: If you go down the rabbit hole, you can find out that you are a lot of things. I would even argue that if you search deep enough, you can find that you can be even the worst of things. But before you go too far down this path, ask yourself "Was and am I really a hypocrite, or is it just my pursuite of me trying to find new dimensions of myself?" . I'm pretty sure it's the latter. :) Oh, and I do have one last suggestion for you. You are a really powerful individual and you can influence people do better. So when around loved ones, make sure they do better in terms of what they want to be better at. I've made the mistake of trying to influence people I love to do better in how I would've liked them to be. Make sure you continue being a hypocrite and don't let KZbin Elliott be the same as Dad Elliott, or husband Elliott. Those Elliotts are different people you need to be. You have a nice day and a nice life man!

I found this too in fasting.. that if you just "yield" or accept the pain of a craving or just the mental habit of wanting to eat something at a certain time of day, because that's what you have always done: If you just hold the line and not give into that temptation-- it was usually over in 20 minutes or so and I found that it never really came back. I fasted for 6 days straight and could have easily kept going. There were no more cravings or impulse to eat after the 2nd day. And this can apply to other things.. If you just hold strong and stick to your path, you will exit the h3llish portions of the journey much quicker than you would have thought. I know it always feels like it's going to last forever when you're in it--- but it never does. "This too shall pass"

Elliot, you gave me hope when I was tempted to be swallowed by darkness and despair. I was in your KINGS group and you told me that you could see that I can do great things….God spoke through you that day and I sensed a spark. I say this to say, I understand. I don’t judge your for being fake or a hypocrite. I know your heart was and is in the right place. You gave me hope again, that’s more than enough for me. Thank you so much brother, and God bless
