@REVO FERDINANDUS Big fan here too. I think I only got to see Merle live just twice. The first time was in the late 1960s. Merle was on a Hee Haw tour or something like that. My friend, who is one of the best singers around, and I somehow got to get up and play a Buck Owens song "Together Again" with Merle's band The Strangers. Unbelievable, what an experience that was. Another time was at a small venue here in town. In the 1970s. A buddy of mine's band was opening up for him. So I got to see Merle's warm-up/soundcheck and his show. And I was right at the edge of the stage listening.
