That endgame in the first game was really well done I thought. The way NL got the opponent's king to move away and then kick the knight out was very nice. In the second game, why didn't you take the free knight? Ah, you mention it at the end... That second game hurt. There were some really good moves in there. But a lot of missed chances.
@menpower1
@menpower1 4 жыл бұрын
The second game was impressive, even though NL threw the game, he showed that he could beat a 1600 player. Admittedly, that 1600 player was not playing that well for his/her rating (I would know, I'm high 1600 so these ppl are my usual opponents). Nonetheless, well done NL!

Am I the only one who is crazy impressed by how good of a chess commentator NL is? Also he's insane on endings. Right now for me he's the only chess content creator who can explain his thought process without trying to show off how fast they are. Everything he says is clear as day. He's not arrogant or over the top as too many streamers which are somehow loved by the community. He plays chess just as I like to, as a game, and not as a competition of whoever has the biggest iq. Maybe it's just me but the chess community kind of always felt a lot on the pretentious side. NL gave me a lot with this chess content and I would have never guessed that from a channel which I followed for Isaac
