You were right. What caught me off guard was the conflicting reports of 64 and 60 CU's. Other than that it was pretty spot. Little surprised they didn't bump the CPU clocks much higher, but maybe they don't need to. The best part of the PS5 Pro though is that they're unshackled from AMD's FSR 😂😂😂😂😂

why not use an zen 2 apu like the r7 4700g as cpu instead of the 3700x? both the frequency and cache is 1:1 to the cpu in the rumoured ps5 pro. the 3700x is skewing the perf a bit too much as it allows for higher fps when the scene is not gpu bound compared to with an r7 4700g

PS5 is a very effecient peice of hardware. And it is the only modern console which runs most games at perfectly smooth framerates (no stutters or freezes). PS5 Pro will be amazing. Especially if it will support proprietary hardware accelerated upscaler (made for RDNA 4) and will also have more performant RT cores.
