New featured narrator Alicia Pavlis narrates this haunting tale, by author Maya Ellert, about a woman forced to spend the night in an economy motel near Philadelphia, in Room # 103. While she is microwaving her dinner, she finds a note under the microwave, which reads simply, "Don't look." She is not sure what to make of it until she begins hearing voices outside her bedroom window, telling her they can see her, and that they want her to do exactly what the note warns about: "I know you can hear me," the voice says. "Come, take a look. I'm at your bedroom window..."

This was great!! Using an child's voice is just genius. Using innocence perform an endless cycle of existance. A child's voice on something evil is just terrifying. It's as if it's a spider luring flies to their doom.

this sounds like the film "Room 1408" if you haven't seen it i strongly recommend you watch it. It's about a guy that is living at The Dolphin Hotel. He is warned not to go into the room by the manager, but he insists and still want's to stay in the room so he does. He only has an hour until he is stuck in the room for eternity. The only thing he can do to get out the room is to kill himself. You should watch it, i think it's still on KZbin.

So, a cool thing just happened to me. I was listening to this masterpiece for the hundreds time deep in the night (favorite time to do so) and I fell asleep. Then I dreamed that I was outside of my new apartment building just chilling. A girl came by and nicely asked me if I wanted to buy pancakes that her and her grandmother made and that she sells. I was hungry (as well as in real life; that’s why I woke up) and so I said of course but I had to go inside and get money. While I was walking into my building I could still hear her talking to some kids playing outside and in the dream I thought to myself: “ she’s got a really beautiful voice. I should tell her about the audiobooks I listen to on KZbin and maybe she could join CTFDN!” I kid you not! So to Alicia Pavlis, you’ve got such a beautiful voice even my unconscious mind knows it and thank you for this very great performance ❤️ With love, Hibrica.

That low pounding sound at 7:30 was so subtle and so small a noise but it had the greatest effect in the story. I hear it sometimes in movies as well it's such an eerie sound and I feel it signifies the sudden change in the story. Loved it!

Upon hearing this story, I was forced to sit and process for several moments and then spread word of its existance like a sinister virus. This is, quite possibly, one of the creepiest stories I have EVER heard. The sound effects are all of the sounds you wished, as a child, would go away. The narration is as familiar and living as your closest relative and it breathes such life into the story that you find yourself paralyzed by each action. Brace yourself.
