Ooh. Another Star Wars fan. Me too 😁. Yeah. It’s a funny story. Humvees are big and heavy and I wanted mine to be female like most car owners that name their cars female names, but I wanted her to have an old graceful name from my grandma’s generation. I thought of names like Edna, Angela, Martha, Beatrice, Agatha, Audrey, Evelyn, Mabel, Olive. Then one day on KZbin I was watching an Australian guy talking about waltzing Matilda (google it). And I said to myself, Mathilda, sort of suits my Humvee. So the name stuck. 😂
