Frankly, most of us over prepare on our first child. We look back years later and laugh. As you have more kids it becomes more systematic. I only had two myself. But a huge difference on the over application of things from child one to child two. At any rate, things do calm down. But it takes time. Not surprised your operation for this has been all upended. I literally got busy enough I didn’t come back to my music for like 2-3 years... Just don’t give up your channel entirely. Especially if it is one of your hobbies. Or you can get burned out on the child part, not having your own thing to do still.

Congratulations!! As a Father of two for over 20 years I can tell you how you can continue your hobby while helping with the baby! I used to take the night shift while my wife slept and some of the best memories in my life were watching movies with my girls when they were babies. I would be up sitting with them giving them their bottles and taking care of them while we watched all kinds of fun films - and they both grew up into beautiful movie living adults! So don’t think your film watching will change all that much - you just eventually may have to add some children’s movies into your collection! Congrats again - and welcome back!

You’ll have to adapt your movie collecting and KZbin with less free time but it will make the time you do have to yourself that much more special. I can’t tell you how excited I am for Saturday nights when I can take a movie off the shelf, make some popcorn and just immerse myself. LOL
