When you showed the 1st spot I was in heaven and immediately thought, "I don't even need to see any of Adelina's other choices, this is the one I would choose in a heartbeat!". LOL. Peace and quiet is my top priority -- not living too close to neighbors is another, which helps to insurance my first priority that much more. Add to that, the beautiful surroundings of the 1st spot and wow! Shopping and other needs not all that far away is the icing on the cake! Great choice! So very happy for you!!

Girl, you inspired me to look into tiny home living. I live just outside Chicago..similar story to yours..went from a huge house with a husband to a townhome with 2 college aged kids who are about to finish up. So I have been thinking and praying over what’s next for me..I am drawn to minimalist living..we’ll see what doors God opens for me. I love your videos..thank you and keep it up! Congratulations!!! A resort town can be crazy in the summer with traffic. I could hear the sound of the traffic in your video and that would drive me nuts.I have been a country girl for the past 20 years and it is so peaceful in the woods in the mountains.I feed the birds, squirrels and chipmunks and sleep in absolute quiet, except when the coyotes howl.

I'm glad you picked the private location. The surrounding red pines are so beautiful. In the event they don't have internet by the time you move, or internet connection not great bc of windstorm, etc, you can always pack a lunch/snacks/thermos & head to the library or community centre where WiFi is free. So excited for you. You always stock enough in your kitchen anyhow so ok to not be near stores. Yay!

I am so excited to hear you'll be letting us know about your search and how that went. We are getting ready to sell our house, and we want to move out there if possible (we're in Ontario), but as you know, finding a place is TOUGH. We would love to connect with someone who owns rentable land (such as the couple who owns the first place you looked at--gorgeous!), but we don't know anyone at all in the province. And we also have thought seriously about buying a property that is zoned for tiny, but again, very hard. I'm so happy for you, and I can't wait to hear more.

Excellent choice - I agree 100%. ‘Peace and Tranquility’ is a mantra my late Aunt Enos used to recite as she rocked in her rocking chair at night when the house was quiet….. I was a child in 1964 and didn’t quite understand what she meant, but I do now… I love nature, and quiet, and peaceful morning coffee with the birds (maybe it’s something in our Portuguese blood or DNA). Hey Adelina: Just looking at this post. The second property is going to be very noisy with the traffic from the street -. You may literally feel you have parked on the street - plus all of the cars coming into and out of the RV grounds and perhaps even headlights beaming into your home from the cars at night. So, as unsolicited as this is, the first property is a million times better on every level. Just sayin’ from a native NYC perspective where we know all about living in very close proximity to each other! Good luck with your move! ✨🌞✨

Easy decision for me - I'd choose the one in the country - the second one is way too close to the road and you'd have so many vehicles going past your place - don't think you'd have any privacy or quiet/tranquility being there. Hello Adelina! I've been watching your videos since you started posting; thoroughly enjoy all! I'm originally from Leth so very familiar with your builder, Tiny Teacup. At any rate, I now reside in Medicine Hat where I've met a group of like minded women, all older than you but h--- bent on living in a tiny house community in Alberta! Have you ever considered staying on this side of the Rocky's? I know you have said you'd like to escape the landlocked winters and live by the ocean BUT AB has much to offer as well. Anyways, because you are a 'doer,' at our last get together (with this group of women) they suggested I contact you and see if you've ever explored an AB option, as I know you have commented about starting you own tiny house village. The perfect choice! Let the moving begin. I knew the wooded lot was for you. The biggest drawback for the wooded lot is if the owners sell their property, where does that leave you? The biggest drawback for the city lot is the potential noise, especially on weekends, if they also rent to travellers….. We rented an RV and drove to the Florida Keyes where the parks had both permanent and weekend renters.

That's always the risk but they seem to want to be there long term. I would like to purchase a piece of land someday in the future.
