I know right! We did have a kid sized suit but they've grown out of it - the man we got this lot off assures us we don't really need suits with these bees and thus far he's been right.

Oh thanks! We've actually got quite a few older beekeeping videos, although they're definitely more an amusing diary of us fumbling our way through it than instructional videos as we didn't exactly do everything as we should have the first time round LOL

I think I googled how much beekeepers earn the other day and its not that much unfortunately. I guess you could live super rural maybe and have the cheap cost of housing make up for it.

It's certainly not a cheap hobby - and our hives are just a hobby not making any income from it. It's great to have extra bees around for our fruit trees so they produce more, and any honey we get is a bonus!
