Advice for someone handing out tracts and praying with people for the first time this Saturday?
@2012incaАй бұрын
There have been test around the world with praying for groups of people. One test they prayed for 2 groups of people with the same condition in hospital. They only prayed for one group and did not pray for the other group. It did not make any difference. There have many of these tests with praying for groups of people around the world and all prayers were not effective. If you think prayers help you are living in fantasy land. Christians say when 1 person heals of cancer it is Gods work. Millions of people around the world who had cancer were prayed for die of cancer why couldnt this all knowing all powerful God heal those people of cancer. Religion is big business. God is all knowing all powerful yet he cant handle his MONEY. Churches always ask for money. This guy from this KZbin channel is asking for money too. Dont trust false prophets who ask for money. P.s. Christianity was created after Jesus died so it is only 2000 years old. People lived perfectly fine for thousands of years before Jesus, The Bible and Christianity existed. By the way Buddhism, Pagan religions and Hinduism are much older than Christianity. Christianity is the new kid on the block. Christianity is a new age religion. Positive aspect of these other religions is that you dont have to worship a God who kills thousands of peope with floods because they dont do what he says. Oh yeah you dont need to be saved since that Christian concept is only 2000 years old. Before that it did not exist. It is a shame so many gullilble Christians dont do research into history.

This ‘discernment’ channels are predominantly Calvinist cessationist and their doctrinal beliefs naturally formulate their opinions. They are known as modern day heretic hunters and are pretty much a popular cult on KZbin. They share and regurgitate the same material for likes on their own channels. They are consistently negative and criticise, mock, ridicule and find fault with most things Charismatic and Pentecostal. Their favourite go to figures are the likes of Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen etc. I caught Rosbrough taking Joyce Meyer out of context. I happened to have listened to her talk beforehand and Rosbrough had clipped the bit he could find fault with and built his channel episode around this false misrepresentation. They are more recently rounding on one of their own, Alistair Begg. Alistair had the temerity to utter blasphemy by announcing he’d advised someone to attend their grandchild’s gay wedding and take a gift. The heretic hunters are having a field day. Yet, these self appointed watchers and discerners haven’t yet realised that Jesus was likewise criticised for entering houses of sinners and eating with them.

I agree. While there is a place for the "watchman" ministry, this should not be our primary diet of spiritual content! I used to be an apologetics "junkie", and while I still love sharing the true gospel, especially with the door-to-door cult "evangelists", I find that I'm more effective in sharing the gospel when my primary focus is growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, not learning of the errors and failings of others. Our witnessing should be an outgrowth of our relationship with Jesus, not a replacement for it, and I find that these channels about which you're speaking generally tend towards the latter. They can be valuable in those select cases when I'm presented with a direct question about any given person, but otherwise my time is much more productively used in focusing on reading, meditating on and studying the scriptures. This is a timely message, and I pray that it is will heard and heeded.

Funny thing is that you are essentially alone-- you aren't connecting with anyone-- on these kooky devices here on KZbin. Typing little notes to nobody you really know and never will know is nutty. Have no idea if this is all a test to see if AI can fool you. In other words, this guy may be a robot but he doesn't look or sound like what you expect a robot to look like, necessarily. Then, you hear and see people who you absolutely know are robots or AI. Problem is, it's all a game. Finally, you will have no idea whether or not something is AI generated or a robot. AND, you actually won't care because you no longer feel much of anything and can't tell one way or the other if it is or isn't a real person. I'm certain this has happened already. Decades ago or almost a century ago. Maybe for a very long time somehow. The very best robots or AI are rolled out in certain youtubes to see if they FOOL everybody. The lesser quality robots are there to cause you to think you will spot the difference between real and fake. But you won't always. Also, there are humans who can behave like you think a robot will behave. They are also used in the mix in order to confound you... None of this is going to play out very well, is it? No, it really isn't. It isn't good now. Holograms have been created for quite some time. That's concerning, isn't it? 7:04

Thanks for sharing this video. 🙌🏻🙏🏻😇❤️👍🏻👍🏻

This video came up in my feed. And am so glad it did ! You,young man have just discovered the way to personal revival. What you said in the whole video is exactly what I have been feeling for a long time. The three books you showed and talked about are absolutely amazing, I read them all years ago and plan on rereading them and a lot of others again. Oswald Chambers is one of the best Christian writer/teacher I ever read. It’s time for each of us who love the Lord,to get away and spend as much time with Him as we can..in prayer, meditation and praise we will find strength, courage ,peace and be conformed to His image. Highly recommend that everyone read those three books and study them along with your Bible study. There are so many great books that we need to read or reread and get away from all the worldly garbage thrown at us. Bless you and will continue to watch your channel.

Ken Ham is amazing and built this Giant Ark in Kentucky. Christians go there from all over the world. I'm disabled and couldn't go but I would love too. Another one is Truth is Christ. He is such a humble young man and a true man of God. I always feel good after watching his beautiful videos. You will love them. God has truly Blessed this young man. So funny how I've been feeling that same way and have also deleted many of channels. It can surely drag you down and waste your precious time away from God. I have been drifting away from the scriptures. That can cause you to allow other spirits to creep in that you don't want. I'm going to have to completely get back on track. Thank you for awakening me today. I needed this. God Bless!!

My suggestion - First read our Bible every day. If you read 22 vss of the NT every day and 64 vss of the OT every day you can get through the entire Bible in a year. Once you've done that you will have discernment to know which channels on KZbin are going to give you good nourishment.

I agree 100%. Started to read my paper Bible again although I find it easier to use IPad because of my hand problems. But find a lot of the KZbin is very distracting. One that I do like and listen to is Grace for Purpose A Blessed morning prayer to start your day. Thank you for sharing.

Pastor Jack Hibbs is excellent. I think we actually met on his channel a few years ago. I am in NZ and have CFS like you. Just got his book ‘Living in the Daze of Deception’. But I totally understand. The worse I got with earth, the closer I have come to Jesus and often when I have to lie down, I go through memorized verses and sort of word by word how much it really means. Also Dr Jeremiah is a real man of God. Also have a look at ‘Warchman River’ Tom first goes through some Bible verses, then talks about Rapture related topics and always ends with a Gospel message, which is what he began the channel for. He’s a lovely older man. God bless you, Matt.❤

The rapture is false doctrine. Yahusha is clear in Matthew 24:29-31 that His elect will be collected by angels after the Tribulation. The Bible says this 4 times. The saints are within the Tribulation in Revelation. No verse says there is a rapture.

I totally agree, it is amazing how we get sucked in. I'm 71, I don't like technology. I only use You Tube. Being the age I am I love books, the feel, the smell, I have several Bible versions and value these and I know devotional books are certainly helpful. I wonder if you have come across works by Derek Prince? Over the years his teaching has been pivotal to my faith and understanding how God Word is alive and active. Derek is no longer alive, but the legacy of his life's work lives on. I commend him to you.

People are blindly following false teachers these days. That is why I appreciate the channels that expose the false teachers. They are opening people's eyes to the deception that is taking place. Truth can be found in the word of God, not in the mouths of false teachers.

I totally respect you for this. My husband (who is currently in a care center) and I were talking about a similar type of thing and I just keep going back to that verse “My sheep know my voice”. John 10:27 If what you encounter is not edifying you or benefiting you, is it actually from God? God’s voice is going to make your life better and bring you closer to Jesus Christ. If the things going in your ears are NOT doing that, are they actually from God?

It's causing division in the body of Christ. I avoid those channels as best I can including blocking. Thank you for speaking on this important topic.

How true and I'm guilty of watching Christian content that talks about celebrities being satanics, or accusing other Christian KZbinrs of heresy or their personal lives, etc. It is a huge distraction. I do enjoy watching sermons from Charles Stanley, daily devotions, prayers on certain needs, Marc the Messenger, and a few others. But I've been removing some channels that don't seem to honor God. But you're right, we need to spend more time with the Lord, read His Word, and commit to more prayer. Enjoying God's creation is awesome! Thank you for the encouragement on this.

That is really commendable. I have dabbled at times with trying to make videos on popular trends etc. Some of these brought in a tonne of views and subscribers. But it never really sat well with me. A number of months back, I actually went through my other channel (Lion of Fire Ministries), and removed videos that didn’t align with what I wanted to preach on. This included videos that had 400K, 400K, and 300K views. I feel so much more content, and like I’m in exactly the right place. I’m actually excited about the videos that I make, not trying to maximise reach through “popular videos.” I’m very grateful that I am in this place right now.

you hit the nail the on the head ... no one is thinking much about "does this leave me riveted with the Glory of God?" ... i recently saw a YT short where this young lady talked about the verse in Psalms (37, I think) ... "delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." then she talked about the phrase "delight yourself" and mentioned that it means to be soft and pliable in God's hands ... now that's quality and that's something to take home for life ... this simple young lady in that moment outperformed so many preachers and YT channels in a matter of seconds

We all do that to a certain degree. I have learned much by others challenging my beliefs. Always be open to learning new things but you MUST make sure all things align with the Word. there are many things in the Word that the mainstream churches do not teach. If you do not know the Scripture well enough to do this you are defenseless.
