I'm building my BEST DUGOUT! We are building wooden floors in a dugout off the grid!

Hi everyone, to make everything fall into place, I'll tell you a little bit about the video. It consists of two trips, in one of which we insulate the dugout, and in the other Radik is already with us and helps us make the floor.
To be honest, we didn't think we'd be messing with the floor for so long, but we have to make it before the New Year!

Hello Sasha. You, Misha, and Radik are an amazing force when together. It is good when everyone are friends, and yes, it helps make building much easier and faster as a team. It is still amazing to me that the entire dugout cabin was made without blue prints (drawings). You guys should be proud of yourselves to do all of that building with a limited amount of power tools. My hats off to all of you. Your cabin is really beautiful. Some one commented that this is your best cabin yet, but in all fairness, you cannot compare a dugout cabin to one that is sitting on top of the ground. There are too many variables between a dugout one vs. on top building. I hope that everyone has a Happy New, and Sasha, give Nastya a big hug for letting you go to the cabin so often!

Hi Sasha, Misha, Hugo & your guest helper: Both of your builds are great (the log cabin and the log dugout)). They both seem cozy & warm with perhaps a bit more room at the cabin, with gazebo, large brick wood stove, mud room/porch, wood shed and large cleared area for a yard! Everything you build turns out beautifully! Great Job to both of you!! Happy Holidays to all

WOW, now that is what I call snow. I have not seen that much snow since I was a child here in the USA. You guys worked so very hard on that dugout. And now putting a floor in, makes it the perfect place. A home in the woods. Merry Christmas to you all and your families. God bless. ♥

Greetings from the state of Washington here in Sedro Woolley. We just have a little bit of snow in the foothills today and I do believe we're gonna have a mild winter, which is just fine with me as I sit here in my comfortable easy chair in a warm environment, looking out the window at it. Ha, ha, ha! I'm curious of what you're doing with those beams as to why you're scorching them with the fire. I have a good idea, and I am curious to know. First for me to see tools specific for flooring to make the fit perfect. I'm not frequently exposed to building materials and tools. My husband may be. I enjoy seeing it done. You young men are so hard-working and skilled. I just get shivers watching you in all that cold and snow. You make it look like a regular day. Hugo is such a good buddy. Good job.. Sasha, Misha & Radik!! So talented! I was curious, when you were puttting down the floor why did you first burn some of the wood before you nailed it down? They charred the surfaces that will be in contact with the ground to slow the deterioration of the wood. The black carbon on the charred surface will not rot.
