I'm BUYING a Ferrari 296 GTS! New Addition to the Shmeemobiles

I'm very excited to reveal that I've ordered a new Ferrari 296 GTS! The 830hp convertible Italian supercar has impressed me so much that I've chosen to buy the newly released Spider! To tell you all about it, join me in the 296 GTB at FOS for a blast at the Goodwood hillclimb!
At the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the impressive Ferrari line-up features the 296 GTB wearing a distinct livery that links to the Maranello Concessionaires sales of Ferraris back when they began in the UK, with 'Baby Blue' over Rosso Corsa. The interior continues the theme over the extra carbon that's included with the Assetto Fiorano option that introduces fixed dampers and lighter weight components, with the optional painted livery.
Needless to say, the 296 GTB is the Berlinetta (Coupe) variant, as opposed to the 296 GTS being the Spider, but they share the technology and hybrid system that truly impressed me, with a 3.0l TT V6 working in harmony with an electric motor for 830hp to the rear. The interior brings characteristics from the SF90 and Roma with the curved dashboard display, gearbox selector, touch control steering wheel and numerous lovely touches throughout.
However, what appeals to me is very much the 'Fun to Drive' characteristic that Ferrari use in connection to the 296, for both GTB and GTS. While my SF90 is a Stradale (Coupe), there's certainly an opening for a Spider in the collection to be a different driving experience.
The SF90 will definitely be staying, the 296 is not a replacement but an additional Ferrari to arrive at @TheShmuseum. It will be my second new Ferrari and I've got some great ideas already for the spec, it's going to continue being a very exciting journey with the brand from Maranello and I'm very exciting to bring you along with me throughout.

Always wondered why he doesn't just buy an out and put hypercar like a Chiron or Brand new Jesko Those are like $2.5m -$3m brand new Sell 5 of those cool but unremarkable supercars like the SLS or something The Zenvo, SF90 and Senna are all hypercars but they really won't have the same impact on the channel as a Koenigsegg or Bugatti Everyone on earth with a phone knows what a Bugatti is lol He has like $7m in cars, he can have a Bugatti and still have 10 other random supercars for daily driving purposes But it's not my pocket so we move 😂

Yeah had a similar experience back in 2015 when he did a meeting at one of the McLaren dealers in the UK with his 675LT Coupe in Cerulean Blue back then. One of my favourite spec cars he's ever had

As someone else said, always seems around Goodwood time Tim can go a little crazy announcing a lot of new arrivals to the garage and at first I wasn't too sure about this, but after hearing the specs and skipping to the hillclimb part, seems like a great fast road or track tool where the SF90 may be reserved more for GT uses or less regular track days. From what I see, this will likely be an Emira replacement and the Emira may not last long in the collection.

Ferrari & Porsche really stepped up their game with the 2021 and newer models! The 296 GTB is such a classic looking, insane performing & operating with the latest/greatest technologies. If you're not doin the classic Red Ferrari with White, the Blue with Silver accents, Silver with Yellow. It would also look super clean & mean with a Metallic/Gloss Black, then do Matt Black or Yellow for accents! Those color combinations would Properly all do the body, stance & overall look justice!

Seriously speaking, shmee brings the best content on YT, for any car guy, but compared to some dumb KZbinrs he is still lagging behind in subscribers, he should have reached at least 4 million by now, but it's still 2.5 million, he need to realise it's time to buy a hypercar for the growth of this channel, car enthusiasts will always be there, but i need this guy to be more successful

Congrats! The 296 GTB/S has to be one of the most interesting Ferraris since years! The sound is incredibly close to a V12, the power seems amazing and the looks are gorgeous! I cannot wait to see your adventures with it and hopefully put on an exhaust/downpipe which makes it a bit louder!

@@travis3810 well the main reason I find it a very cool new Ferrari is the size for one thing. With most new cars getting so big this one seems to be much more compact, and I like it better than the SF90 for it being rear driven. Just personal taste🍻

Schmee that's a great looking car.. it reminds me of the Ferrari 250 GTO. I like the body kit of the GTS you drove in without the side skirts underneath. Looks like an SP3. I'd also shy away from the two tone paint scheme and look for natural colors. Like Testerossa Red with a few black accents like the rear grill. And nice big wheels and a downpipe to increase engine sound. Okay, that's it. Have fun over there!!!
