I'm Crappie Fishing in Kansas!

Mr Jimmy, i still say my first memory of watching a crappie fishing video was of you and Mrs Chris. Yall were fishing a spillway from the bank and yall were fishing roadrunners. This had to be 30-35 years ago. I believe y’all were staying in a motel or camper and could not keep any of them. But y’all were catching huge crappie. If you still have a copy of that vid, i wish you would share it again. Prayers to you and your family and thank you for all you have done. God Bless

That was Gibbons Creek in Texas, Joe. Great memories and one of the best lakes we’ve ever fished. Big bass there as well. Thanks. May God Bless. jimmy

The water is low in this video. We have had so much rain this year, I bet the water is up 2-3 feet this Spring. I’m hoping y’all can get filled back up at Twin Eagle Ranch!❤️🙏😎👍

Never had much use for Kansas in terms of fishing outside of catchish and crappie which are both great in KS. They have good carp also but I am not a carp guy. But the deer and turkey hunting OH MY! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Kansas for deer and Turkey.

Kansas is a sleeper state when it comes to fishing. It can be really great. We catch 50 - 60 pound flatheads on the river all the time, which is my favorite. We are blessed. I shoot pheasants and quail all around Webster Lake. Good bird hunting!

Hello Jimmy how are you hope all is well hope all is well with Chris Jimmy awesome video and enjoyed it very very much as some good crappie fishing I'll tell you a lot of white bass wow and they are just phenomenal catch and yes they are good eaten Jimmy crappie fishing I love it and I like doing it it's very relaxing in-between tourneys and it gives your break from the bass fishing tournaments and I like to swing over and grab that light action Rod light action real and 6 lb fluorocarbon and and go ahead and crappie fish that's what I'm talkin about y'all a relaxing break and then we go back to bass fishing and tournament bass fishing for sure LOL it's all good Jimmy do use light action and light action real and I believe you still use 6 lb mono if I'm not mistaken let me know always great to hear and I appreciate Jim I'll definitely talk to you soon stay in touch when you can and God bless you Jimmy God bless Chris and the family love you all very dearly!!

It’s always fun to break out the light stuff and catch whatever bites, Bill. That little Webster Lake there in northern Kansas is a good one. Only about 5000 acres but really a fun lake. Kansas has surprisingly good fishing. Not the big lakes like we have here in Oklahoma or the rest of the South, but some outstanding fun lakes. Had a great one. May God Bless. jimmy
