I genuinely appreciate the fact that this isn't a one-day makeover with free, new furniture from sponsors. Instead you are doing it in real-time and sourcing second-hand items, using your platform to encourage participating in the circular economy. So important!!

That's why I always thought that you don't have to be super rich to have a million dollar look house, all you need is taste, creativity and a bit of research!! That's it, at least for me :)

I agree! I feel like this approach is a lot more typical for most people, where you want to redo a space but you don’t necessarily have the budget or items to do it’s all in one go. So you gotta wait till you find a good tv stand on fb market place that is a steal, then save some mor money and a month from them maybe you could afford a side table set from ikea or the curtains you really wanted.

In Scotland people don't tend to tip either but I always do because someone is doing me a personal service, and while we have a national minimum wage, it's quite pitiful. I think if you moved your rug to the edge of your coffee table and slightly under your couch it would feel less out of place, plus make a designated walk way between the TV and table.

I feel like the coffee table should be a bit closer to the couch too so you can use is more easily and walk in front of the tv. Might just be personal preferance though since I eat a lot at my coffee table. 😅

Is it normal that I teared up when you gave a tip to the guys who delivered the couch? It was such a nice gesture 🥺❤️ Also, I was wondering how do you find all of these clips filmed on different days/weeks/months? Do you file them in a specific folder every time you film or you wait till you're finished with the project? I would go crazy LOL

Living room turned out so good but I do think you should continue the search for a coffee table. It would be more playful to go with layered round tables.

I agree. I think the current one is too much of a black blob in the middle of a light space. It needs to be less visually heavy - maybe with legs, inset a ways from the edge. The chalk paint black isn't working. I actually liked the original one in this space better, but it was too big.

Round tables would definitely be a better choice for that space, I wonder why she went for one the same size as the one before and such a clunky one at that

I am so happy that Kelsey took her time to do the space..like she didn't rush it or think about how she should maybe finish it fast..due to whatever reasons.. Whenever I do a creative project my mom and everyone push me to finish it faster and then never tend to understand that it does take time..so I am glad that Kelsey is taking her time in doing this and is also doing a freakinnnnnn amazing job..❤️

WOW! Transformation looks amazing. I love the coffee table. It’d be so cool to add fluted sides to the bottom portion. And maybe paint the windows trim the same green as the fireplace.

This is the first time I am writing in this comment section. I have been watching you guys since long back 3-4years back. From first video which was about loft for a girl in college and used for my room. I really really love your work guys. This series is my ultimate favorite, I literally crave for this Home series after the Becky wedding( which I have seen multiple times) decor. Keep doing the good work. All the best for your future.

Step by step, episode by episode, I am making my way through these posts while you Make your Home. You've done a great job Kelsey - know this. It's helpful to all us "wannabe's" to see that the struggle is real! You didn't make a plan, find it in a weekend and nail it. It was a process and that is real life. But you know what? YOU DID IT and made a beautiful, beautiful area! Someday you will even get to invite real people over and celebrate the journey!! Great job K!,!
