I love whenever Nick is in videos, because I really get the sense that he's like, trying real hard to make for good footage. I think his voiceover and B roll about his table is an excellent example of this. I feel like he's like "alright, shoes on the other foot. Now I'm not just editing the footage, I AM the footage. Gotta step it up."

As a fiber artist I was so excited seeing Becky with that dog brush!!! The process is called "carding" where you can brush fiber into roving which is then used for spinning, or you can even take already processed roving of different colors and card them to blend them together. You can also use a drum carder or even a hand carder and blending board.

I think it's funny that Becky tried combing out the yarn with the dog brush--the video they referenced is a step in the process to spin roving to make yarn, so it's like she's literally undoing the yarn making process with the same process used to make the yarn.

My favorite is the 2nd Project- the hidden cabinet. I have a built in apartment medicine cabinet that has a mirror that is not in a good location on the right hand side, I kind of want to do this project with a painting to hide the unused mirror. Thanks for the inspiration !

Love all the projects. Kelsey’s table and plant stand are so good. Becky’s lamp shade and cabinet were perfect. One suggestion for Justin is to paint the outside of the cabinet to match his wall. Top remains white and bottom is the same color as the lower half of the wall. Seems like it might elevate the whole look. Would love to see it if he decides to go with it.

I got really excited when Becky brushed out the tassels because it took me back to when I used to cosplay characters from Cats the Musical, and back in the day we would take yard and unravel it, then use brushes like that or actual wool brushes, to turn the yarn into little bundles of individual fibers to make the wigs!

I'm so glad Becky went with her gut and used the string she liked better. nothing worse than using something you are iffy about and then not liking the end result! Also I had the same thing happen to me last week, where I knew i didn't have enough thread for a project and ran out! I had to go and buy out several Micheal's stores just so i could finish my project 😂

I think this should be a new series! Love all the creations! The only thing I was iffy on was how Becky attached the pendant piece to the new shade. The shade was gorgeous, but those wires just looked a bit questionable to me. LOL. But what do I know? It looked great hanging in Andrea's space, so I'd say it was still a success! I love this! Hot tip, you can get glass cut for the frame easy peasy. Call up any local glass shop (I called a small in town one when I did mine) and they will cut it to the measurements you want and it's so much cheaper than you think :)

Yes totally! Also mirror glass! It's actually cheap and they have different types. Just tell them to sand the edges or do it yourself if you're going to be handling it a lot to install it :)

I had doubts about Becky's lamp, but they were all dispersed once I saw it hung up in the room it was intended for. That cabinet, whoa, gorgeous! And that painting truly worked with his room. The side table is wonderfully done but for me it's a little too short, the light won't work with reading and you really have to reach to get your teacup. I definitely want a second and even a third part if possible. Kudos to the SG team! Without you guys we'd never see the Sorry Girls. Love you!

This was such a fun video to watch. Yes, more please. Back in the early days of HGTV, they did remodels/room refresh/projects that were doable without breaking the bank. I’ve missed those old shows where I could do it myself and knock it out in a weekend. The Sorry Girls have not only filled that void, but surpassed the level of those shows as the tools, materials, and resources have vastly improved since the mid-90s. Thank you.

Loved this video, would like to see more. My fav was the lamp. I cannot believe how much tedium went into that! I, therefore, dub it the Patience Lamp. Although I must admit I wish the jute and the tassels were the same color.

Love the painting cabinet! I want one!!!!! Also I am a librarian… lots of libraries have free access art collections, lots of cool art to be had there as well! New York Public library has a huge one, but check out your local library as well. They may have digitized a lot of their photography collection, maybe they have local landmarks that mean something to Someone!! Great gift idea as well, especially for older generations.
