I'm a writer too. I totally get the feeling of "I can't do this!" I've written 17 books and over 1200 articles. I'd like to say it gets easier, but when you're in that home stretch on a manuscript, and the deadline is looming, there's a part of your soul that just sort of transforms. Sometimes it feels like an anchor pulling you down, and sometimes it feels like part of you has been possessed by the spirit of the book. In my house we call it "cybernating". I become one with my computer. I live on coffee and chocolate (if I'm lucky). If I'm really lucky some wonderful soul will bring me food. And when it's done there's this feeling of relief that can't really be described. You wake up the next day and realize how out of wack mind and body are but all you can really do is wander around, blinking, while you get reacquainted with reality. ~Candes

bloom where you are...start with anything - Jess said in one of her vids this year that she wished she had started "something" earlier, instead of waiting. I'm right there with her! I waited 2 years, for things to be "right" - doesn't happen that way. You miss out on so much learning and life. Seedlings on a windowsill is a start. I don't know your situation, but I agree with Jess - do whatever you can with whatever you've got. Just Start!

I’m new to your channel-new sub, and I just wanna say that I absolutely love your channel. I’m a single mama to a teenage son. I loved seeing your baby boy walk around & chat with you about the fruits while enjoying your kombucha & hug those chickens. When you get your book back from the editor make sure to scrutinize it very carefully I got mine back and glanced at it thinking they are professionals, then when I got my first printing I read through it and it had literally been sabotaged! Paragraph counts per chapter had been changed in 38 out of 45 chapters! Key words missing and so much more that was not noted in the editing! I am still trying to clear it up. All of the challenges triggered serious PTSD junk from a family that has done nothing but criticize me and tell me I could not do it, even though I have not spoken with my family in over four years because of how toxic they are. I will be contacting the publisher soon with all I found and it is hard because when I have stood up for myself in the past I have been ganged up on and psychologically and spiritually beaten down. It is strange I will fight for others like crazy. I know part of this is a spiritual battle because the book is the first in a series on how to overcome this kind of abuse in a round about way. They never tell you if you want to be a writer you need to want to be an editor too! I hope all goes smoothly for you!
