I like what your doing with your barns or sheds, some folks call them both names. Your cows are the same as mine, will let you know when they want to move and will follow directions to new pasture. Also calves do the same, get confused and stand looking at me, then when the corner comes up they want to go straight. Well anyways, enjoyed watching, have a nice day!

I remember even before our new pole building was completed storing our machinery in it as the transition was being made. All it was for a time was a new fresh concrete floor and a roof there were no walls yet. We would park a few of our old tractors in there and somehow they looked 20 years newer again. It is kinda interesting how something that is new makes everything look new.

As usual, the best part of the video to me, is the calling the cattle...."come cows" and they come a running! it makes me chuckle every time!! And, the pasture that they just went on, looking reallly delicious!! Have a great week...........................Bev in Maine

Love having calves on the farm. It’s so entertaining to watch them have the zoomies. Is five bays enough room for all of your tractors and equipment?! Lol. Next you will have to add on to the equipment barn to fit more tractors! I really like your method of grazing and hay. To me it seems like it is a better way to maximize your stocking rate and make the most of your pastures. I dream of our pastures looking like yours. If you ever offered a school for raising cattle on smaller acreage I’d be the first to sign up!! I remember you talking a bit about breeding the cows and how that works with having two bulls. Maybe that could be a video going more in depth on how you decide who breeds with who and who will become future breeding stock. Thanks for sharing. Entertaining, educational, and inspiring.

Funny story about cow manure. When my brother and I were kids we went out in the pasture with black cat fire works. We would follow the cows around and find the steaming fresh piles and put black cats in them to blow them up. It was awesome to blow up way up in the sky. We both had glasses and if you’ve ever done black cat fireworks you know that some fuses are fast…really fast. Well it was winter and cold and windy. So we had to huddle around the manure piles to light the fireworks in the wind. Well we had a fuse that literally burnt down the moment we touched it with the punk. We both looked up at each other and started dying laughing when we saw the other covered in fresh manure. It was even funnier when we took our glasses off and our eyes were totally clean compared to our faces. Those were some great times. I am 52 now and my brother is 49 and we still laugh so hard when we talk about that day. Fun times for sure.

No bull jousting this year, huh? Ordin gets his turn at the gene pool overall and Titus gets to bat clean-up. Good for Ordin this season! That barn is shaping right up. I'm guessing you already have the landscaping fabric beneath the previous bedding or rock. That's nice that you'll be able to (if needed) do a complete refresh of the diesel you pull out of the 656 and have a spare waiting in the wings. The starting convenience like what you have on the Super C will be nice. Always a treat to see how you're caring for those hay-burners. Thanks Pete, tell ol' what's her name hi for us... it's always a pleasure when Hilarie graces us with her presence.
