You don't see performances like this by female artist or rarely in general anymore. Janet was the first and only of her kind and my all time favorite female entertainer of all time. This video was made over 30 years ago and still exceptionally entertaining.

This is when you had to have talent it wasn't about shaking your a** and your t***. I forget that there's a generation that has no idea who this woman is. It's a shame. No one does this now I don't see any icons out of the bunch of flounders they have now. Back then it was about having a career not worrying about hits but she was able to do both.
