That's one of the realities of full time travel - sometimes you just need to make some $$$$. And you did say this was something that you were likely going to have to do. Hopefully 3-6 months work can fund another year + of travel. Have to say, looking forward to UK content. I actually loved the time we spent in the UK. I know people get down about the weather and I imagine winter is something else, but I really loved our time there and I think sometimes its a bit underappreciated by those who live there! I hope you will get to do a bit of travel around while your over there.

Scott and Ally put up videos sharing their experiences. They include the logistics of how they do what they do. The reality is that committing to a lease and paying for it are part of the logistics. So, you say the Ally was paying for it anyways....I've missed that part in their videos. That actually opens up new questions, since I was under the impression they had an equal partnership. I'm not trying to make him feel guilty, but if he does, then so be it. I subscribe to his videos and it's not unreasonable for me to have a question for him, no matter how uncomfortable it may be for him to answer. It's a reasonable question since there are consequences to the decisions made living this lifestyle. How does his decision to leave Ally in Budapest affect her financially? Maybe he made prior arrangements to find her a new roommate to share the costs? Fair question for a viewer to ask since viewers are learning from their experiences.

I dont know, but i think Aly's videos make a lot more money than Scott's. For no other reason than men and women are different. In casual dining restuarants female servers earn more in tips given similar service. I think it holds true in travel vlogging as well. Who do women want to see in travel videos? Women. Who do men want to see? Women. That doesnt take anything away from Scott or Aly or their work product. I think Aly makes more money and Scott has to go where he can build up a money cushion to allow him to do youtube without depending on it. Personally, I worry about their relationship over long distance, but that depends on them. Silver lining? Maybe split screen videos with both of them like serpentza did from the usa with c-milk in china. New and unique format.

What makes the popularity of the videographers is: - personality, man or woman doesn't matter; - content, make video on topic that people are interested in; - consistence, more videos you upload more there is a chance that viewers find your channel. Aly is been uploading for years while Scotty started only a year ago. Your comment is subtly male chauvinist.

Scotty 7.5k subs Aly. 141k subs Same videos from same locations. All her subs are fully aware of him and his channel, he is not grinding for exposure. If they liked him in her videos they would subscribe. If you claim that female youtubers shooting the same content at the same locations are not more popular; and you have ever said women are better politicians, then you are a hypocrite. Either men and women are the same or they are not. If you pick and choose then it is just a power struggle for dominance. Your preferred group only has the positives and no negatives. Which leaves all negatives to the nonpreferred groups. But facts schmacts amirite?

We don't even know what Aly did or didn't do/say. All we have is just his vague 3 min video, Aly hasn't addressed it at all. That being said, he has 7k subscribers compared to her 142k. She has worked hard to get to where she is and it wouldn't be fair for him to mooch off her until his page takes off (if it ever does). She is taking her youtube earnings and investing them back into her page like a smart business woman. She is not at the point where she can do that and continue to carry Scott.
