I’m gonna have to buy a new Motorcycle!

Nobody goes to Nepal on electric motorcycle but me I guess;) Eve always causes a scene really. After a little tire shock in the morning the journey continues with 100% power on mostly the worst roads you can imagine with a few awesome moments and of course incredible landscapes. A highway definitely means different things in different countries, that’s for sure😉 but will I make it to civilisation today? Probably not…

You need Energica experia Marc, and pray that you won't experience rain and the dusty powder combination, it will transform into slush and it will be Ben's nightmare for their 4x4 and eve must be airlifted to clear that stretch, I frequently travel this kind of roads in Himalayas by motorcycle and have pretty much screwed up situations. And one more message for Ben,if you see any vehicle climbing up in front of you then please stop and let them climb first, that's the rule of the Himalayan driving. Ride safe brother.

Why don't DSR or DSR/X?? The Experia is a road trail, of course more floor clearence. Well, you answered in the video 😅😅 and you right but since a few month they make and offer to buy the some extras with good deal. I think they have to change the charge connector to CCS combo 2 for free.

I just got my Zero DSR/X. They don't sell any OTA upgrades to these latest generation bikes anymore. It came fully equipped with 110% charging, parking mode, heated grips etc. It's a killer bike. So maybe you'd like to try it even though you said you think they look silly.

If your looking for a used bike, get a BMW F650 DAKAR. They're unbreakable and have a great gas mielage, can be fixed with simple tools and you still get all the necessary spares. I own one parallel to my KTM 690 Enduro R. They're cheap too.

The powdery road reminded me of driving my bike in stone quarries. It's very difficult to control. There is no traction. And top of that, it's difficult to gauge what's underneath the powder. Big trucks may pass over them, but smaller motorbike tires can be dicey. All the best from India 👍✌️

Whatever you get next, make it an interesting unusual choice. It really adds to the entertainment when you are on something that makes it all look a challenge. It has to be light, easy to fix, and long range. All of the videos with the usual Tenere/GS/Africa Twins get a bit cheesy after a while. Small capacity is good, if it sounds like it is chugging along that is better. Your old bike was always great to watch.

2 suggestion for comfort. 1, get a seat pad to raise your seat height. 2, replace your foot peg with lower ones. The pegs Zero use are pretty universal, so you should be able to find one if you find a motorcycle shop. Or do both. Keep up the good work and continue to have a great journey!

If you get nail in your tire, drive slow to a place it can be repaired. Don't remove the nail, the nail is holding the air. IF tubeless tire, keep the instant repair glue.

good video but please be extra careful while camping near a river even if the river is tiny. as you know its rainy season in nepal and you never know when a flash flood might hit you. even if its not raining where you are staying now it might be raining somewhere above and all that rainwater comes without any warning .

New on the budjet; KTM 390 Adventure, Royald Infiel 450 Adv. Used; MY FIRST CHOICE-WR250R; 2&3CRF 300 or 250 Cheap but new: KLR 650 In my opinion theses are the best reliable bikes for the money. Money is not a problem: CFmoto 450MT , Tenere 700; Africa twin 1100;

Only the Africa Twin would be any good at long distance touring out of all those bikes. The rest would be better off road, but comfort while doing lots of miles is a big factor.

Brother change the tyres get Apollo trampler or MRF revz r those are radial with big button made for naked bike and scrambler. It will save your life . 😊 and they are high quality and cheap 150 dollar for a set. I will make your ride 100 times better. I have that on my Husqvarna.

Suggestions... hmm new Himalayan 450, CFMoto MT 450, Kove 450 Rally, CRF 300 Rally, Transalp, 390 & 690 Adventure when you like Risk of braking down, Vstrom 650 & 800, GS 310, 800 & 900, Tenere 700, Versys 650, Touareg 660, Triumph Tiger 660 & 800 and last Ducati DesertX anything else gets to heavy in case you need to lift the Garbage up what will happen. And if you ask for my personal choice of that bunch it depends with only A2 1. Himi 450, 2. MT450, 3. CRF 300 Rally, 4. GS 310 and with A1 the Kove 450 on 1, 2. Himi, 3. MT 450, 4. Tiger 660, 5. Transalp to make the Top 5 complete.

Marc, there is not a lot of choices with large adventure electric bikes. Zero's 2023 Zero DSR/X $26,0000 at 540 lbs. 17.3kWh battery, with 32.5 inch seat height, 60 inch wheelbase, 7.5 inch travel, 19 - 17 inch wheels, fully adjustable suspension, Bosch traction/ABS/stability control system, also a reverse for parking, an emergency brake, heat grips, cruise control, traction control, etc. You getting good millage between charges and dependability out of Eve abet your not doing 75 mph. Zero CTO Abe Askenazi, the DSR/X with the standard battery pack can go 75 miles [120 km] at 70 mph, or 13 hours and 200 [321 km] trail/fire road miles at a “normal” off-road pace. Oh, may want to consider putting highway pegs on Eve, where you can move your legs out in front of you. Off road they don't help, but on the highway, they are godsend.

Hi, eve is the main thing. My knee was OK again on a tour by getting a towel around to keep it warmer! For me one of the aims of the trip is, to get eve around the world! Otherwise I would be disappointed. (but I will follow if you change the bike)( wasn't there an endurelike option from Harley, think I ve seen something) VGvG
