It's Monsoon that's why there aren't many riders on the road. Plus one suggestion, do not camp near rivers in Nepal during Monsoon. It can look small, but if it rains heavily, volume can increase massively. You never know. Travel Safely.

although Nepal is a small country but she has got lot in her offer list, You will find beautiful spiritual scenery to adventurous road to more cultural blended people which is impossible to cover up within 3 months of time. you have to experience the himalayas once, there are high altitude places like mustang but its a off season time.

I agree on the corruption part though, bt being a local i understand that it is quite difficult to build roads here. Roads get built bt get washed out due to rain and steep slope, even concrete got washed out and collapsed due to rain near where i live.

Little advice, just take care: If you hit stones or edges potholes hard, please check the rims for hairline cuts some more often as usually. A friend of mine lost his collapsing front wheel at 160 on the Autobahn. he got a guardian angle but the bike was wrecked. Those hairline cuts can last for a while but suddenly the wheel can't stand it anymore. That's one reason why offroad bikes got spoked wheels - there only break some spokes that get easily replaced at minor hits. Keep going - Kradblatt is still watching and spreading your travel ;-)
