I got a Hoselink retractable hose 82 feet & I LOVE it! I always use a microfiber cloth in one hand to wipe the hose as it retracts to keep dirt from getting into the casing.

Hoselink is certainly a market leader in thisbm space. And definitely echo your sentiment on how much I love my retractable hose. And Great tip on the microfiber cloth, yes I noticed the sand and dirt stuck on the length of the hose, don't want that going into the casing!

Cool! I’ve always thought of getting one of these for my wife. We have a flexzilla house which we’ve been pretty happy with but I’d a lot of hose to manage when we put it away

Yes, Mississippi thing to put the hose away and I often choose not to do it, which has frankly been a hazard because I have tripped over it so frequently. I've been using this one for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love it!

I'm curious to see an update 6 months to a year from now. I currently have a Hoselink, and I need a 2nd hose. However, I REALLY don't want to pay $300. for it! Hoselink prices - like everything else - have really gone up! I've read lots of negative reviews on these less expensive brands, so that's why I'm very curious to find out how well it lasts over time... Hopefully, this one will be a good one! P.S. I'm in Central Texas, and we're on our 3rd year of drought. (That's pretty normal for us, were just waiting for the year of flash floods!) Anyway, this last Spring I was using my hoselink so often that I got lazy and stopped retracting it to put it away every single day. Well, Nature got me back for being lazy! A couple of birds seized the opportunity for a covered home! They built their nest inside the Hoselink casing and laid their eggs inside the Hoselink case before I found out what they were doing! Needless to say, my Hoselink didn't get put away for a very long time!

Oh my gosh, that is such a great story about the birds! So glad you discovered the nest before you try to retract!!! I will certainly post an update in a few months. Thanks for asking! And yes these things are definitely pricey, I wait for sales!
