I have the #6 FPR EF Ultraflex with the chrome finish, with the ebonite feed in the Jowo compatible collar. I absolutely love it. I should look for more pens that take it. The Rialto resins are really pretty!

That Ultraflex nib is that and some! It's part of my Dec Currently Inked pens right now. I just had to include it 😁 I must say I keep twirling the Blue Tortoise body to watch the colours interplay. Ha!

Damn Grace I just ordered the Rialto and the Himalaya!😩 A friend will be brining them over to me in the new year. These shipping and tax prices are horrendous when we order outside of the European Union. 😑 So my FPR package will come right when I'll be ready to open a new package. This is my Christmas treat to myself. Was happy to be able to take advantage of the BOGO sale. Thanks so much for letting us know.💙

Roger was really cool, he had a pen that I wanted, but passed on. I will have to catch up with him at the next meeting. The adapter you need for your modern Esterbrooks is called the MV adapter. If for any reason the adapter doesn’t work out, then you need a vintage pen.

I had the Rialto and Ashoka in my cart but decided to hold off. The Rialto looks classy and comes in some cool colors. My next purchase from Fountain Pen Revolution will probably be the Ashoka. It's bigger so it would be more comfortable while writing. I think it can also be eyedroppered so that would great especially with an ultra flex nib.

I totally hear ya on the bigger size being better for writing. That's my jam. Altho I love my Rialtos I know that I'll not be able to write in longer sessions with them because of their smaller size. Btw, the Ashoka has been on my want list ever since I checked out the Rialto pen. Mmmmh....

I really do like the nibs from FPR, though my experience with their pens is lacking I am glad you are reviewing them as they where never on my radar. I highly recommend Ranga pens, they are handmade pens from India, FPR is also a retailer for them, trust me you will like these pens.

I'm glad you're happy with your purchases. I was disappointed in the quality of the FPR pens I had and gave them away. One even went in the trash. I know from others that their nibs are interesting, but the pens are just too low quality for me.

Aww Marilyn, I'm sorry you didn't at least have a decent experience with your FPR purchases. That sucks big time. It's the nibs mostly for me, the EF Ultra Flex especially. Selection of pen bodies wasn't exactly stellar but I do like the ones I chose in the end. Let's put it this way, they are definitely not a Leonardo but they do the trick for me and I wouldn't go loopy crazy if somehow one got lost on a travel trip for how inexpensive they are.

GRACE!!! Stop with the PENABLING! I literally just inked my Jinhao 100 which was the 24th pen in my case that holds 24 pens. Now what am I supposed to do with the Rialto BOGO's I just ordered? What do I do now Grace? I blame you. No I blame myself for watching your videos. Yep, I blame myself for falling for Grace's penabling. Ok, I'm off to find a bigger case now. 😄

You are cracking me up Annette! Can you see me doing the penabler shuffle? 💃🏽 Now, for legal purposes I plead the 5th, cause all I do is inform 🤣. Just know that the penabling works the other way round too. Cannot tell you how many times this year I've jumped and bought a pen from other's recs. But....I LOVE it! This is such a cool hobby filled with peeps, like you and I, who truly get the joy of pen ownership.

Those are very nice looking resins in those 2 pens Grace. I once had an experience with FPR and their BOGO sale - not a good experience sad to say!! The quality of the pens doesn't seem to be up to even the cheap Chinese pen standards! I do like the UltraFlex nibs. Other than the name brand pens that they are selling these days, one should stick to the Ranga brand for the more inexpensive pens. At some point I think I may get a couple of the 6.3 Ebonite feeds to use in some of my swapping.

I've been hearing both sides about the FPR pens. Sad that that's the case tho. You can't beat a good Chinese pen, tho I've have to return more than a couple of them because there was something or other wrong with it so 🤷🏽‍♀️. I'm gonna use these FPR's until they're unusable. 🤣 That flex nib though! Mmmh!

@@wildlyimaginable I guess the saying is "Your mileage may vary". It definitely can be hit or miss on not just pens. And speaking of Flex nibs, the other night I placed an order with Osprey Pens. On the way will be their Milano model pen with a standard and flex nib option & I'm getting their Titanium version of their UltraFlex. I already have a steel nib, and I wanted to compare the Ti version with the steel as well as the FPR UltraFlex I have. I think it will be interesting. If I remember I'll provide an update.
