We are much older than you but after a life changing stroke, I was medically retired from work. I felt like my life was ruined and I had my ‘flop’ moment. We bought a camper van and travel. It gave me purpose. We do it with our 3 dogs and life is good. The only direction I have in life is where the van takes us. Do what makes you happy. Life is for living. X

We're skipping the big wedding! Getting married in the local registry office and taking our children on a lovely holiday instead. We've been together 12 years now and honestly don't see the point in spending all that money for one day when you could have amazing experiences in the world. Do what you guys want, not what everyone else does/says. You'll thank yourself ❤️ Yay for Nana 👏

Defo along with you in the flop era, I think a lot of people got these points in their lives especially when a lot of other things are happening around us that we can’t control like the cost of everything at the moment. I don’t think anybody really know what they’re doing 100% of the time and it’s comforting to hear other people sharing the same feelings. So happy for your nana and a great vlog as usual 🥰

Travelling doesn't have an age restriction could you not go travelling now? I suppose it all depends on what you want in life, travelling obviously has its appeal etc but having a family is a completely different thing.... Most people of average income simply no longer have the means to jet off & lets face it every week there seems to be another public service on strike, you can't even get a damn passport in the first place!

flop era :/ trouble is social media makes us believe everyone has all their shit together, and its the most toxic thing of all!!! i feel like this idea of flop era just stems from judging yourself from what others are doing. All our lives go through ups and downs, quiet moments and exciting moments. just need to enjoy it all and not overthink it... Social media, especially instagram and tiktok, sure is bad for us.

Why dont you and Sean go abroad to marry, it does not need to be a big wedding, all you have after a wedding is picture and memory but it should be about you and Sean not paying for others to have a good time, there is definitely cheaper options, think about what marriage and wedding means to YOU GUYS not what you Seen or what family wants x

In my opinion in terms of your savings, keep a small amount for a rainy day fund and travel. You can’t take money to the grave, you have your health and your youth. Life can change in a split second, like we all discovered with covid, so make the most of it when you have the time, money and health to do it 💕

Me and my husband got married just before our ten year anniversary after a one year delay due to covid. We’d already booked it two, almost three years, in advance to spread out the cost. Ours was a pretty big wedding but as our cost was spread out we didn’t feel the impact. I cherish our day and the memories as well as the magnificent photos we got. But, my best friend, planned her wedding and did it very small all within three months and equally loved her day. It’s a conversation you and Sean need to have and go with what feels right and what fits your budget

go travel. it will never be the wrong choice, and you obviously have it on your mind. there are no wrong paths or decisions, whichever one you take will be the right one. Travelling will open all sorts of new opportunities, struggles and perspectives. 27 is so young, travel whilst you have the money and the time/ freedom. Your house, friends, family and dogs will all be there when you return. Maybe the travel bug does need to be explored! sending positivity xxx

I am a firm believer that happiness is the biggest success in life. Do what makes you happy. Don’t put pressure on yourself to do something or be a certain someone. Do what brings you happiness. Something I have learned at 39 years of age is to use money to create a passive income. Once you have a form of passive income you can do anything you want. Another thing I have learned is enjoy the world. Travel, soak it all up and experience it all xx You are totally normal we are all the same and travel through different phases in life - go with it and don’t worry about it xx Yay for no Cancer ❤

I suggest traveling!! Especially if it's been a passion put on the back burner! I'm turning 33 next week and I still have no clue what I'm doing with my life but one thing is, I'm traveling all over and everywhere I can! As for the wedding.... Everyone has their big dream wedding growing up but honestly it's a piece of paper signed and certified that your legally together..... 10 out of 10 recommend just skipping the big wedding, just say I do, and put the money for the "honeymoon" into traveling!! You can ALWAYS renew vows later in life and have your big fantasy wedding on an anniversary or something!!! Side note .... Yay for nana 🎉💚💚

I agree as well! My 5 year old has been to many places with me! A few times I left her behind because of safety concerns and being my first time in a few areas but if I enjoyed it, I brought her after. It's important to see all you can see prior to kids more so for convenience and less responsibility really. That being said though, sharing the memories and experience with your children is absolutely doable and should be encouraged more these days!

One thing I would say is get a good photographer/videographer for it. Can you afford to or want to spend £20G on one day and forfeit other life experiences? Weddings today are expensive, not just for the happy couple. Weigh up what's worth it and do that. 😁👍 You've grown so much as a person & as a couple over the past year💕

I know I’m older, but what I’m about to say, I hope you at least consider. I got married a very long time ago, and my parents and I spent a lot of money on my wedding. The most important thing I want it from my wedding more than anything in the world was to have a picture of my father and I walking down the hall… It’s Did not have to be in a church, it’s not a fact I did not get married in a church, but I just wanted that picture of my dad and I and I wanted a picture of my mom, my dad and myself. I am somebody that’s in the event business in the states, will tell you right now, not to spend that kind of money on a big blown out wedding. You could have something not at a venue Very simple put together still have amazing pictures with your parents, of you and Sean, but I would not spin but people in the United States are spending right now for a wedding. Some weddings are going at $50-$60,000!
