He seem a little irritated but I spoke to him and told him he played a great Dr. King and he stopped in his tracks and said “ thank you brother” with relief. “ somebody finally recognize I don’t do silly shit all the damn time”. An actor that doesn't get enough credit for my liking. I have to edit because I was being misunderstood. He definitely gets his flowers, but I'd love to see him with Denzel, Sam, Morgan, etc. If he's acted alongside them, forgive me. From comedy to drama to horror and beyond. I will ALWAYS be a Clifton Powell fan. I’ve been watching him since the late 1980’s w/ his BRILLIANT PERFORMANCE on “Roc.” Although yes, he has played gritty characters there’s too many to mention, Mr. Powell has played those roles so BRILLIANTLY that even when I see those past performances it still sends chills down my spine.
