Backsplash just on the back wall! Also, in case you do more peel and stick in the future, flip the tiles pieces the other way and then you can just lay one on top of the next instead of having to lift up those flaps 😊

I was cringing a little bit (not in a bad way though, just because I have seen that specific peel n stick in another video!!) because the flip would've made it look perfect and at the end you can just cut it, so it fits to the end/corner of the wall. Nonetheless, it looks cute! I wonder if it didn't come with an instruction, as the other creator had the same issue figuring out how they were supposed to be put together.

I remember you saying you were not so sure about the green color in the kitchen, but combined with the white of the sticker tiles and the brown of the cabinets , the green on the wall looks pretty good. I personally would leave the tiles only on the back wall. That little bit of side wall doesn't add anything to the look. But it's YOUR kitchen and you should paint and decorate the way YOU want it. Chelsea!!! I really like the backsplash! I would definitely say wrap it around that wall, especially as the sink is near it - it just helps protect the wall a little from water and is easier to clean. Also, side note, when YT recommended your video a few months ago I went back and started from the beginning of your channel and I am so glad I did because I appreciate videos like this one even more now. Seeing how far you have come is such an inspiration for myself and my best friend as we are trying to grow our channel and find our feet on KZbin. You are a real encouragement! I LOVE the green color of the kitchen!!! It's a HAPPY color and goes so well with the dark wooden shades. So many people are afraid to use color and I love that you were not. Chelsea, I didn’t want to tell you this, but since we’re learning - you’re supposed to remove the tape when the paint is still at least a bit wet. If it’s dry, you might rip some of the paint off. But you can always just patch it up with a paint brush 😁😁👍

I noticed you liked the cups above the coffee machine for easy access. It also really seemed like you wanted your food in that cupboard and your silverware in the cupboard to the right. What if you hung your cups with small hooks under the cupboards, OR on the side wall next to it? Which would allow you to change the cupboards and still have cups near the coffee machine! 🤗❤️ A display of your favorite mugs really gives your apartment character, also fun for you to see them often! I display my cups and I love it! Maybe something to try if you’re interested!

Love the backsplash! One idea is to buy under cabinet mug/wine hooks or rack to give you additional cabinet space. And maybe get a shelf to put your coffee machine on that has a drawer to hold your kcups for more space.

Chelsea!😊 Your place is coming along great! Ignore the naysayers they're just jealous or have no life! The bathroom is cozy and adorable. And personally I love the green kitchen. If you had gone cooler or "minty" it would look too "hospital green". I'm sooo excited for you that you're getting your couch. Oh and I have a nearly identical thing for the bathroom, not bamboo, teak, I got it at Marshalls and I've used it in my bathroom, livingroom, and now it's next to my bed with Nina's nighttime sleeping basket on it. They are very versitile. Don't feel alone if things feel slightly off kilter....Mercury just went retrograde, so it's like crazy out of sort full moon energy feeling. Today I wanted to slap someone, lol, and I never feel like that, it's not my nature, so I had to reboot my day. It so helps having Nina a) because she's adorable and b) because cuddling her takes me from a 10 down to a 2. And she deals with any stress by napping. You are moving forward and doing so great so applaud You for your bravery and creativitity. I love the backsplash. okay 2 suggestions, if UPS delivered the dishes and you have that broken one, they are awesome about replacing stuff. You can just go on their website. They sent me a check for the full amount to replace, I think I just scanned a receipt and took a picture. Just a suggestion. Now with the back splash, I'd keep it strickly to the back. You may want to hang art on either side or a size appropriate mirror. Having a mirror always give the illusion of more space. And well placed mirrors can refract the natural light in interesting ways. So there's my 2cents and for what it's worth your Christmas tree is lovely, anyone saying other wise is a Grinch. I must admit that I love the color of the kitchen walls but I wasn't crazy about it next to the golden oak cabinets. BUT now that you've put the white peal &stick tile there it looks great! I also like it on just the back wall. You might consider peel and stick floor tiles or a piece of floor laminate for the floor instead of a rug. Kitchen rugs get so dirty and make it hard to clean spills. Also you roll your island around and your washing machine in and out so tiles would be easier. Your apartment is getting cozier by the day! Consider placing a hanging glass rack under your top cupboards. It’s a space saver, keeps glasses protected and it looks noice!

Sharing your quirks is the thing that brings me back time and time again. It’s so scary to be vulnerable but the more we are, the more others (the majority) will feel comfortable in their own weird and confusing skin. Thank you for exposing yourself so that others may find the courage to so too ❤ I’ve yet to find another youtuber who’s this honest and open and optimistic about the ability to share. PS. Peel & stick tiles are meant to fit like puzzle pieces 😅 next time you do one make sure to slip the 2nd piece and it’ll lock into the 1st for a cleaner fit!

Defo don’t continue the wall, I never used the stick tiles but if you was to turn the next tile upside down and slot into the grooves of the first one , then match the 2 straight edges would that have worked rather than the overlap ? I wasn’t sure? Maybe that would be too risky to leave gaps ? Xx

So cute! Loving how the kitchen is coming along. One suggestion I have is instead of thinking of your kitchen organization as food, dishes, etc think of it as zones of where you use things. My coffee mugs are with my coffee and tea supplies not with my dishes. My dry goods are next to my stovetop cabinet and my snacks are across the kitchen. That might help since it seemed in this video that you were conflicted on pieces (mugs versus plates or wine glasses) instead of organizing by where you use it. Half of a cabinet could have dishes and the rest of that cabinet be dry goods for example.

The kitchen looks lovely! The back splash was a great idea too, but I think if you’re not going to take it to the end of the counter on both sides then just leave it on the back wall. The good thing about it not being perfect is that it makes it even more realistic to how a real backsplash would end up! Looks fantastic in my opinion!
