It must have been a care home for adolescents. The office having the only upstairs carpet is a dead giveaway. The balcony to supervise the garden discreetly would have been useful. Also for listening to residents conversations in the outdoor sheltered space. Yes, I worked in an Irish unit a long time ago.

Sad to hear the brick is being covered. It looks in lovely shape and original. Also, not sure if you are thinking of painting any of it definitely read up on that first because over time paint destroys brick because the brick and mortar can no longer breathe like it needs to so it can start to crumble.

all that abandoned furniture and stuff is gonna make someone at a thrift store, facebook marketplace, ect ect, very happy!!! Sometimes people need utilitarian stuff when they're just getting started, or someone setting up a simple office. i imagine you might be able to sell some of it at decent prices even! its gonna be weird getting rid of the personal items. I wonder if the realtor can connect with the people who left the stuff there? Like hey...want your bike? your clothes?? that guitar? some of that stuff seemed really sad to leave behind. or maybe its lost with time, and maybe they'll come across their stuff at a thrift store and be like omg I remember that ahhahaha

Wow, I have soooo many questions. Wondering what will happen with the boutique & the cottage, why you guys choose such a large space. Perhaps a nice price since it was abandoned, or perhaps so you could have enough room to close the boutique & store all your products. We’re gonna need a Q&A video! This to me is such a big project, but what I’ve learned from watching your videos is that you can do anything you put your mind to. It sounds like a sort of social institution. Probably teenagers from difficult households, who are too young to be emancipated.. so they have social workers always supervising and giving guidance. It's different from an orphanage because the parents aren't completely out of the picture. My cousing works in one of those, so that's what it sounds like to me.. but let's see what she says. It's crazy they left all of that stuff behind.

You have to paint a sun or a flower around that one circle window! Either inside or outside the building. Feel like that would be so you!

How fun to have such an artsy unique creative home!❤And the brick will keep the warmth in the winter and cooler in summer! So fun! Love the big windows! Maybe you could cut an archway instead of having a doer from foyer into living room😍 then soon walk-in closet will turn into the baby’s room!❤

Big and livable, lovely yard and greenery and distant view, so much possibility and livable right now. I would never want to live alone there, but that's just me. Hopefully you won't be...
