One surprising note is that he kept much of Trump border policies and even made it harder for those that came here through the asylum process to gain legal status. He's building stronger relationship with Mexico so they start limiting migrants from moving through in order to reach the US. Traditionally, Mexico has been pretty lenient on migrants crossing their southern border and reaching the US for asylum but now they are having a hard time cross the Mexican southern border and Mexican police are cracking down illegal immigrants in Mexico. Sometimes, we are faced with the ultimate moral dilemma where "doing the right thing may not be good" while "doing the good thing may not be right". This is an example of neither! It is just a case of misguided loyalty where the boy is being dogmatically principled for the sake of it rather than being principled for the sake of truth and decency. Justice is blind, but it sees the truth. In this situation, the boy is stubbornly being blind to justice and the truth. As such, this is an example of justice being perverted for the sake of devotion to people who do not deserve your friendship or loyalty.

@@tylerodonnnell6821 That depends. They have no remorse afterwards - they use Ayn Rand to excuse their shitty behaviour and buy into the idea that they are ubermensch.

@@felisd You are totally correct on this point. The rich kids (as well as adults), be they from the "Old Money" or the "Nouveau Riches", seem to think that money can buy them anything; happiness, health, education, and escape from justice by being non-accountable for their actions. They glorify their misdeeds and actions and over-exaggerate their social importance (or lack there of) while having the audacity to look down on hard-working people. There is nothing wrong with being rich, but having wealth comes with social responsibility. These people make a mockery of those who use their wealth to help society.

I used to be called a snitch a lot by my schoolmates (and in some cases my siblings too). I was at the age when I was taught to always tell the truth. However, what was failed to be taught to me is differentiating between telling the truth and respecting people’s privacy or keeping a secret. What the boy has been through here is exactly the same as the students so-called “snitching” on others who miss their classes or even run away. When a teacher asks all students where are the remaining ones, the teacher would assume that all students are lying, and so he/she threatens everyone in class with punishment without accounting the fact that good hardworking students will feel hurt and framed. Bottom line: the kid not only got mixed with the horribly wrong and racist crowd, but I think his father means well and tried to raise him as well as he can when it comes to self defence against people who look down on him because of his ethnicity.

I do not believe he is. He is doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. He knows exactly what the other bot is guilty of, but he has faced himself and finally owned his crimes like a man. The look on the other boy's face is that of craven cowardice and shame. He knows that he is now guilty of more than just a murder, but he is also the cause of his "friend" being taken to prison. He is unable to look his friend in the face and bows his head in shame. Both young men now see the other and themselves as they truly are: one a youth misguided into a terrible crime that will cost him the best years of his life but in full possession of his integrity and honor, and his former friend, shamefully cowering and willing to see another punished for his crimes.

13 year old kid in prison, that’s not justice, Also I’m pretty sure the boy was coerced, the father had more of a motive than the boy
