I’ve been to over 65 countries on every continent . Learned how to fly airplanes & Jets with over 10,000hrs, SCUBA in every ocean. Married the love of my life. Weighed 140lbs and put 35lbs of pure muscle in 7 years. Lettered in my division 2 college hockey team. Have a perfect baby boy. 2 college degrees. Ran a marathon for charity Snow skied every continent too. But I can’t get off 1mg. I accomplished all my goals sober. Then I became bored which made me an addict to pain pills. Still have never smoked weed. Just a pill addict. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done Nothing excites me any more. All I feel is sadness. I would shoulder all of addicts pain if I could. It’s would be painful but purposeful. Am I a failure? I have spent over $800k on pills in 3 years. I have no more pain inside to use. All before the age of 40. Now my thoughts consume me about recovery. I don’t smile anymore. I fear my flickering light is about to extinguish

@@kickinaddiction I watched your video Dr Chris Park. I have watched his videos for many years. I also use to watch Rockin Roberta's videos, Nicole's videos and a few others. Matter of fact, I came across some of your videos back in the day too! Thank you for being open and honest about your addiction story and your recovery journey. My stepdad was a trashman too, so am I. Drug use was encouraged in my house growing up. The trailer..the pipes.. LoL. More missing light bulbs than pipes. Glad we can relate.
