@@J33zas Shouldn't work like what? Logically? He queued up 16 moves and the game checked after every move and cut him off at 12. If the devs wanted you to be able to do what NL did they would have programmed it to check the move counts after everything gets played, so they deliberately didn't want you to be able to. NL has even remarked on this about StS before; no matter how you feel about it, the game does exactly what it says it's going to do.

To make your life easier, note that the number of omnisciences in a chain equals the number of non-omniscience cards you can play to end the combo. That's an easier way to keep track of it.

He had lethal on that fight on that turn if he played Worship, Wish (+6 strength), and Ragnarok. 11 damage 5 times, times 3 due to divinity, times 2 due to Omniscience, is 330 total damage. The repto plus minions only had 281 altogether.

Another legendary run hard-countered by the Time Keeper's BS :( I think the trick there is to carefully count out your cards and not play all the Omnisciences on turn 1, as hard as it is. We need a Miracle in order to even play the first Omniscience, so that puts us at 2/12. We target another Omniscience, and we're at 4 cards with two dualcasts in the buffer. First dualcast hits two Deva Forms, so we're at 6. Second dualcast hits another Omniscience, so we're back to two dualcasts and 8 cards. At this point, we can't hit any more Omnisciences, or we'll hit the Time Cap, so I think it's gotta be Wish and Fasting, then just turtle up for a few turns. Unfortunately, you really have to plan that out ahead of time, and that's really hard to do if you don't sit yourself down and actually plan out every move before you make it, and that's REALLY hard to do in a KZbin video, lmao.

in the reptomancer fight (as well as others), if you had went for wish for strength first, it would give you up to 6 strength, which would cause the doubled ragnarok to deal an additional 18 damage, 10 times (for a total of +180), so the fight would be over. on the time keeper fight, 12 strength (fasting + wish), mantra for divinity, ragnarok (17*5*2*3 = 510 > 480), but was too many cards :(

NL, I think you've got the right idea. Omniscience is no holds barred the absolute best card in the game (my opinion). You just need to draft the right deck after you pick it up. You got shafted on the first floor relic, but I also think you need to think more about what's good with omniscience when you're using it. Basically to get to my point- Alpha was 100% the pick for the floor 2 boss. Deva form is good with omniscience, you get extra energy. Alpha however, can be upgraded to be INNATE, then with 3 omnisciences you can do omniscience->omniscience->Beta->Omniscience->Omega->Omega for 200 damage per turn. Even if you don't get the perfect draw like that, it's still very easy to play beta and then omniscience the omega. Now this part might be controversial- but I think omniscience is an always pick card and you should grab it and build your deck around it ASAP if you see it.

What a meme build. I think there was definitely some element of "this is the way", and I saw a few times where Worship was played with Omniscience and then no attacks were played that turn, which is, uh, not great. Better than I'm doing on the ascension grind though. I think Omniscience has some definite problems with inconsistency and running out of gas, and I don't know how you get around that, though Deva Form and some kind of X-cost card seems like the way to go.

Let's be honest, you have to like, write it down to keep track of how many cards you play when it comes to Omniscience Cause like, it's: 2 cards to *play* the first Omniscience (1 for the card itself and +1 for the Miracle to play it) 2 cards played *by* the first Omniscience (so we're at 4) 2 cards played by the *second* Omniscience twice?? (because it hits Omniscience 3 and Omniscience 4) And then Omniscience 3 and 4 double cast 4 more cards. *If* my math checks out, that's 16 cards. But that took like, 5 minutes to think about and write out. If I was just trying to use my brain like NL was, I never woulda stood a chance. This run was doomed the moment Time Eater came on screen, but man was it a wild ride until the very end.

@@EpicElf42 It's not that hard, he could have counted it during any of the previous combats, and it was an important part of the battle, heck, the whole battle depended on it, and he didn't even try to count it! He had the perfect first turn, exactly what he needed, he could have had it, he didn't need to play all of Omnisences at once, there was little benefit to it, and keeping an Omniscience for later would work out, since it would be easy to play it (either for defends or w/e). This was his mistake, and it was an easy one to avoid. Yes, this was a weird and not too well constructed deck, but he kind of made it work, yet he kept playing on autopilot (wasting wishes when he didn't need to, resting too much, playing cards in bad order...) and it cost him the game. This one could have been epic...

I know this run was probably recorded like 2 weeks ago and you're probably well past it by now, but you have to be careful how many omnisciences you use versus the Time Eater. If you only went one layer deep (omniscience into omniscience into fasting/wish into deva form) you would only have played 7 cards and been able to save the other omnisciences for later.
