I’ve generally never listened to someone speak that thinks so similar to me just the way she jumps from different topics and her opinions on everything is exactly the same as me and it’s nice not to see someone similar when u feel out of place in “normal” society x

I’ve been super obsessed with the 16 personalities for yearssss it’s so interesting and I found diving into it really self-affirming too! One thing I will say tho, as an INFP that has typed also in the past as ENFP and INFJ, is that your core personality does not change. What is most likely happening, and this has been the case for me too, is that in your 20s your type mixes with some of your more background traits, because as you mature your personality starts to balance out a bit. This goes into the cognitive functions, which is a major rabbit hole 😂😭 but is really interesting and helped me figure out for sure what my personality type was and how to use it to my advantage. Bare it in mind, no one is 100% introverted, intuitive, etc… your personality type will affirm your ‘core characteristics’ but it will be naturally balanced out by the opposite over time with your personality type’s unique blend of cognitive functions. Just see it as having an ESTP baby (the opposite of your personality type) living in your subconscious and it slowly maturing and coming to the forefront to joint forces with your INFJ driver 😂😭 This is also why the tests are more of a ball park and not 100% accurate and results can change quite often. I will also say that not one personality type guarantees being good at having a job, etc… 😂 as an INFP I was always jealous of ‘J’ types for being more ‘organised’, etc… and felt like that meant I wasn’t a good worker, but finding my type allowed me to realise my strengths that and it was really self-empowering knowing how I work and I’ve never looked back (and nowadays I feel like I work really well after some trial and error😄). I hope I’ve explained it all okay 😂😭

Somewhat agree but personality is really just our ego, it isn’t who we actually are. Our core is different, we’re the one who is watching/listening to the voice in our head which, in turn is guiding our ego. At any point one can tap into subconscious/higher self and change the narrative that built our ego. Personality tests can be good to identify how you’re currently being but there is no core personality, once we attach to that too much we have essentially lost ourselves and are only identifying with the ego mind

Personality types don’t change, just levels of self awareness (which affects how accurately your test responses reflect how you actually are), and which cognitive functions you develop over time. I got INTJ on the official test when I was 16, and since then, I’ve gotten INTP, ENFP, and now only consistently INFJ. Also, not all tests are created equal. Most of the mainstream online MBTI stuff are only based on the dichotomies (like Thinking vs Feeling) and not cognitive functions, which are the true inner workings of the system. I’d recommend taking the Michael Caloz MBTI test, as it’s pretty informative on the cognitive functions. Anyway, I’m pretty sure you’re ENFP, not INFP. At least based on your way of expressing yourself, the Extroverted Intuition function is pretty prominent. Keep in mind that cognitive extroversion has nothing to do with social extroversion, it’s just based on the orientation of the dominant function in your cognitive stack. ENFPs tend to feel pretty socially introverted, and conversely, tons of introverts might be pretty outgoing. Regardless, you totally vibe xNFP not xNFJ. ENFP and INFP have the same cognitive functions in a diff order; but INFJ have completely different stack. I disagree with that commenter’s reasoning, although the advice was spot on. Si is the inferior function for ENFP, so his conclusions about routines still stand. Being changed by your social surroundings is just a universal human trait, it’s not specific to one personality type. That’s what they call the law of averages, right? You’re the average of the 5 people closest to you, so choose your company wisely.
@themischa
@themischa 8 ай бұрын
Also, the INFJ’s cognitive functions are the same as the ENFP’s unconscious “shadow” functions (5-8 in the stack), so it’s entirely possible that an unhealthy ENFP would vibe or even test more INFJ
@kayy592
@kayy592 8 ай бұрын
I also believe she could be ENFP! The advice of “mundane routines” to keep balance really may gravitate to madeline because it’s very ENFP relevant. They’re rather eccentric and have trouble sticking to routines seeing as routines don’t stimulate deep feelings or they take away time from reaching/understanding a “bigger picture ”. I also believe these types, like Madeline experience burn out more than other types because they’re always pursuing ideas due to their overactive mind. I also find these types may see “stable” as boring because they’re so existential LMAO. As far as feelings they’re rather logical and philosophical although coming off a bit aloof. ENFP types could be prone to taking on other people’s ideologies as their own. But only after reviewing it threw their own minds lens for the sake of learning and deciding it may be a new revelation. This increases possibility that they change personality types overtime. This however isn’t out of malice it’s only because their minds are ALWAYS looking for the connection between things and ideas.

Being an infp we r very self critical and i feel so much shame of myself for no good reason. It's actually horrible because i let people dissrespect me, literally everyone has lost their respect for me cause i let it happen over and over again , and there are people who till this day blame me when it comes to breakups because i was the one to apologize and point out my flaws meanwhile they were in the wrong and i never called them out on the horrible things they did. I am always the villain cause i don't want to hurt people by making them think they hurt me💀

not to be annoying but i feel like astrology/ur birth chart is such a key to understanding yourself too, i was obsessed w sun sign astrology from 12 till like 18 when i discovered actual birth charts (timepasssages is the BEST bc it gives u a breakdown of each placement & aspect) n i've never gone back, i think seeing how different aspects n placements in my chart interact helped me understand myself sm more. not in the sense of oh i'm a horrible manipulative person bc i'm a cancer just in the sense of oh like this isn't well placed i need to be careful of reflecting the 'negative' traits of that thing. it's more of a guide for me than a rulebook and its always cool to see astrologers observations or horoscopes (so to speak) n they actually resonate or come to fruition! also fyi never read ur sun sign for a horoscope always ur rising

It makes so much sense that you wouldn’t like a caravan holiday but it also makes SO much sense that a caravan trip wld be heavenly for you. Completely contradictory statements. But it makes perfect sense to me. (i say rent a converted van for the weekend, perhaps a vintage/retro style one- take yourself and bugs to the lakes for a weekend and see how you like it and if you would do it again - avoid the ADHD impulse purchase - I too have spent a deal of time looking up converted vans- thankfully I did not have the funds to carry that impulse through though- oh also remember cars/vans depreciate in value so not the best investment either.)

I'm an INFJ too, and have been consistently every time I take the test for many years. we're the same age and have a lot of the same struggles. Basically, we're too internal and need to do physical things to ground ourselves both in the forms of routine and hobbies. I also have ADHD lol! So doing things with your hands like even crocheting or, sounds weird but whittling, helps. Also, I'll be real self-respect comes from seeing yourself as a person who has to prioritize themself over other people. You almost see yourself as an idea; STOP. Also the empathy is very real and so save it for the right people.

I will admit that I am a first time viewer but if you're not a US citizen it might be different but I don't think it is.

Also INFJs are far more organised and routines in cleanliness and their environment where as infp are more like yourself kinda can leave it messy for a time or forget to tidy up or do practical things (also adhd symptoms) ❤ samesies infp here I have always thought you are infp since I started watching you! Everyone on here saying your personality doesn't change. Meanwhile I've been doing the test since 2014 and I'm constantly being made aware of how I would've responded last year, but how I respond now because I have changed and do not relate to the old answers. I always get a different personality. Your personality does change.
@themischa
@themischa 8 ай бұрын
It really doesn’t though :) I would recommend studying cognitive functions, loops, grips, the role of the shadow/unconscious , and so on. There are many explanations for why a type might act or respond differently under different circumstances. The key is to observe how things change between periods of turbulence vs stability, and pinpoint your blindspots and weaknesses - only then will you get a sense of what your type really is. Any parent can attest to the fact that children exhibit certain intrinsic traits, and as they grow, they only become more and more of who they already were to begin with. This suggests that there clearly is a core of personality, although it’s likely that it doesn’t become more cemented until your mid 20’s.

The first test that pops up on google (16 personalities) is not accurate. I believe you do have the 2nd cognitive function Ne (extroverted intuition) But I believe yours is in the 1st position making it dominant in your stack. Each time you have a dominant function you also have an inferior function that’s opposite to your main. So if Ne is your first Si is your last and Si (introverted sensing) could possibly be why you had a fear of sick. There’s a lot that goes into it and it’s deeper than you think! I’m excited for you :). Michael Caloz’s MBTI test is pretty accurate ❤

Yessss!! Preach! This is what I’ve been SAYING. Every single video I comment this girl is def an ENFP. Madeline is NeFi af And +100000 to the Caloz test. I love that one - it really helped me dispel the misconceptions I had about certain functions. I fancied myself a Te user (there were a lot of environmental factors that made me value Te) but thanks to the helpful examples the test provided involving real-world scenarios, I was able to realize I’m absolutely Ti > Te.

man got them mixed up, we r literally the same person im not even joking everything u go thru mentally i relate AS FUCK mirroring peoples emotions is literally Fe ( extroverted feeling ) while Fi ( introverted feeling ) is being intact with ur own feelings and not putting others in mind i think u should read more about mbti because mbti types don’t change u only develop or downgrade which then makes u a toxic or a healthy person i am an entp and ive been so all my life because i fully know that mbti types cannot change so us being so similar means we have similar cognitive functions u would understand if u read about them which i highly recommend doing so. typing urself might make u more organised and help u understand urself more also might i add yes u r an infj infjs cognitive functions r Ni Fe ( the extroverted feeling function i literally wrote all this for ) Ti Se if u search and understand each one im sure ur gonna realise ur auxiliary function is Fe
@themischa
@themischa 8 ай бұрын
INFJ here, and I don’t think she’s INFJ. She vibes way more Ne (ENFP, I think) than anything (the way you say y’all literally the same person confirms this lol). I understand where you’re coming from, but we’re all affected by our social environment. The way INFJs mirror is very particular to leveraging this to facilitate the goals of their Ni. ENFPs can also mirror by virtue of Ne cycling through endless possibilities of what their Fi might latch onto in any particular setting. This is why using behavioral observation for personality typing is quite inconclusive. It’s less about what’s cognitively driving things internally than about what’s observable on the surface.

apparently your personality type rarely changes in you life, so theres a very good chance that you are still an INFJ, but the choices you make in like are different. also i realised that you are so hard on yourself and the things that have happened to you. i noticed that you always talk about what YOU could’ve done differently or what YOU did to make that happen, but if someone else is doing you dirty, that’s not on YOU. other peoples bad choices are not YOUR fault. you didn’t cause them. i know its really hard to get out of this mindset of blaming yourself for bad things that have happened to you.

Most of us don't have time to hear you talk about growing up. You're not a licensed therapist. But I am interested in seeing what comes of Gen Z influencers as they age.

Haha don’t worry. You wouldn’t have to pay all 30,000. You pay for the damages past 1000 which would have to be a pretty big crash. A fender bender would cost you a couple a hundred per car. If the other person is at fault, you’re Gucci. But yeah, I forgot about the 26yo rule. That’s a bummer.
