He ever said anything about you being scared at all. Insecurities are an internal thing, but they can affect how you react to certain people. A girl who's insecure about her looks might not be very kind to a woman she thinks is more beautiful for instance. Nothing to do with fear, but would go a long ways to explain why you feel the need to keep dancing on Max's grave not only after you kicked him off the show, but also after he just got laid off entirely.
