"I don't get how anyone could be calling her fat when she's literally paper thin" Ah, the 90's and early 2000's, no wonder eating disorders run rampant 😂not that these days are much better I remember as a teen I was like "3 pounds in a week? Pathetic, I could do that overnight 💁🏻" 😂😂

"that'd be a really good way to get someone you didn't like in trouble" YEP. Yep. yep. As a victim of bullies who framed me for their bad behavior in a very similar fashion, YEP. - They just forgot one teeeensy little thing when they were doing it. I'm left handed. My handwriting is and always has been disgusting. The teacher forced me to write an apology letter anyway because she wanted it to end, but I explicitly wrote, in my lefthanded handwriting, that I was sorry someone did that to them and framed me for it. The teacher never brought it up again after that.

I don't know. For me at least, high school is just stressing about tests, grades, assignments, exams, non-stop. But maybe that's because I go to a school known to be full of smart kids and competitive as hell. Like, at my school, no one cares about cheerleaders and football players. The most popular kids are usually the ones with the most AP classes and highest grades. Honestly, the most accurate portrayal of my high school might actually be Rainbow High, which is something I never thought I'd say. (although, seriously, there's enough stressing in it that for them to make an eleven minute compilation of the characters stressing over deadlines)

Mean Girls is a social commentary on what it means to be popular. It was based on a book on the psychology of Teenage Girls. I actually read the book for a paper in high school and the book followed a girl who went from a weirdo in middle school to the most popular girl in her high school. But the book pointed out that popular didn't mean beloved, it meant unapproachable to most except the other unapproachable people. Mean Girls was also considered a spiritual successor to Heathers. The story was inspired by the psychology novel and Heathers. It works well as a movie because you don't actually particularly like anyone.
