Jordan is clueless. People aren't envious of minorities that are wealthy, such as east Asians or some gulf Arab communities in America, they hate it when a certain minority exclusively runs an industry and shows clear favoritism towards their own while harboring a cutthroat environment towards outsider artists they latch on to. This certain minority has been doing it for ages in the music industry, literally dozens of famous bands since the 20th century and now who were either torn apart or stripped of rights to their own music due to some heinous feud, and coincidentally it's always this particular minority. Now they have rappers on a leash, and have shady practices that would have immediately been called out if it was perpetrated by whites. Jordan is clueless. It's also done in sports and acting... Jordan will just make a fallible equivalencies about human scapegoating and other psychological phenomena while ignoring blaring facts and history.

(Preface: I’m not siding with either party in my response below) Lex kept trying to get Ye to “apologise” and kept missing Ye’s point about WHY he tweeted what he did. Regardless of my position on the inflammatory tweet, Lex needed to rise above that element and get to the crux, as he had with other topics he discussed with Ye.

@Mar It I'm saying Kanye is having a fucking hissy fit, ok he has reason 2 be angry and call out the bs that happens in the world but he is a bastard 4 spreading and initiating hate against innocent Jews. Would it be ok if I woke up and I was famous and tweeted something against black people and people started attacking them because a famous person said they are responsible for other's problems that had nothing to do with them? NO. I get Kanye is frustrated man and he is clever at but Lex was calling him on his general BS when it should have been directed more specifically not generally

I always said that about Michael Jackson. People tried to relate him to his brothers or to other men when he was clearly not only a very unique emotional cocktail of childhood trauma and hyper-fame, but also a bonafide genius that experienced the world in ways that would have been evident even if he never become THE Michael Jackson. We can accept it in autistics, yet geniuses just seem to be 'gifted' when they dazzle us, and mentally ill when they express themselves in ways that are considered damaging by the populous. That isn't to say that geniuses should exist outside of our agreed upon moral and ethical codes or that they're so far from being human that they're some other form of life, but the ignorance required to act as though there is no distinct difference at all, leaves us missing something crucial.

@@soiralknarf Im sure Jordan is well aware that his excuses simply do not account for nearly the influence we see. ESPECIALLY if he's read two hundred years together by solzhenitsyn. For some reason Peterson turns a blind eye to the huge nepotism that goes on. Which is an issue because, like Peterson has mentioned before in other interviews, you want to be around people like yourself, which have a common and shared interests. Now when you have a massively disproportionate numbers of jewish people that DIRECTLY control major branches of that countries financial, political, and media landscape, you might start wondering if that groups common and shared interests are perhaps different than the common and shared interests from the rest of the country. This touched me since i was in one church and the pastor there never seemed to tried really talking to me. He asked me once or twice how am i and it seemed to be usual conversation, but since i said i was ok he very quickly proceeded doing other things and never showed interest in my state of soul. Since he was the pastor i thought God was on his side, and that it was my fault, cause i should be the one asking for help if needed and it is true, but then again its nice to see that someone can try to reach to person in a normal nondramatic way. Just try to talk, see whats going on. Jesus helps me to forgive those who were weak to reach for me, since it is very hard to reach to someone who has problems and is hard to open up, like i was. Im not saying this is the case with Jordan Peterson and Kanye, but something about Jordan Peterson being so ok with talking to Kanye makes me feel liberated from some of the wrong stuff i received in my heart from the time being in that church even though its generally a good church.

Yes but lex and Piers have the elite level influence and coverage JP doesn’t. Those guys are literally media outlets whilst JP is the local psychologist everybody (the internet) loves If Ye went to JP he would have got his point across but no one would hear about it. Kanye knows what he’s doing, true genius ♟ Also Kanye’s stature is too elite it would affect his brand and his handlers most likely won’t let him do a localised interview, nothing Ye does is small, everything has to be larger than life then leveraged on steroids and controversy

Kanye never said there’s a conspiracy. He merely pointed out things that have happened to him. The strawman argument is used to make him seem like a bad person. Why would we argue against kanye in this manner rather than deal with the fact that many jews have done horrible things to harm him? Should we examine the fact that there seems to be a pattern? Is it possible that the fact that jews are shielded from all criticism has created a moral hazard wherein jews are able to get away with bad behavior?

He might not have said the word conspiracy, but that's most likely why JP said "conspiratorial". Because it is a conspiracy. And true one, just like the Super Subtle Author theory against Undesigned Coincidences in the NT. YHWH backing you to be more successful than sinners is always the greatest conspiracy to sinners - even more so to their nephilim, just as SSA is true because the author is the Holy Spirit.

Dr. Peterson explains it well because normally this is described as a racist trope even when leaning towards the positive. But it’s true. Jews are a tiny percentage of the population - globally - but are very over represented in number of Nobel prizes, discoveries, at universities, in professional areas like medicine, accounting and law; in business, in entertainment, as talented performers, as writers and directors. The list goes on an on and on. You can’t fake all that success. It just is. I don’t understand it but whatever. More power to them. If you, the person who does not like Jews, thinks they are too influential and successful then YOU can buckle down, do the hard work and become successful yourself. Don’t mind them. Worry about yourself.

you are out of focus. it is NOT their success that is being discussed here and perhaps this agenda was set by JP in an attempt to steer the conversation that way BUT it is not the problem. It's WHAT is being done with such a power. Can powerful people become corrupted? If they are, can they be criticized for it? By the same people who are being victimized but this corruption? Those were the real questions eluded here by JP perhaps voluntarily

What is the subtext here? Isn't being intelligent and "successful" more likely to actually conspire over the "less successful"? Is that not possible and we should just dismiss the notion? (Note, I don't know much about the actual facts here, so maybe he's right in this case but still, shouldn't generalize). Then he implies he knows more than Kanye (again, maybe he does) but he will talk to him to straighten him out, after all he's a genius and genius - like ordinary men - have issues.
