Hi, French viewer here. Initially, when Feldup first mentioned you, I thought to myself that I would just check out how you handle things around here. I appreciate the "father and son" dynamic you have with him, but I sense that you might be a bit overshadowed by him, right ? So I also want to express my gratitude to YOU. Firstly, thank you for your amazing work - truly pieces of art, hidden gems in the vast sea that is the internet, and KZbin especially. Secondly, thank you for being the person you are. It might sound really strange, but I genuinely mean it. I've never seen a KZbinr like you maintain such a connection with a viewer. It's so wholesome. I'm not thanking you for being Feldup's inspiration, but for being a trailblazer in the domain of "ARGs" and horror related stuff videos like that - and also a kind human (with a beautiful voice lord), and an incredible KZbinr. Wishing you the best and hoping you have a wonderful year

So many content creators, actors, artists, etc... have changed so many people's lives for the better. In some cases, they saved them. Inspired them. Gave them the motivation and the ability to believe in themselves and to love themselves. To believe that they matter. That they're loved. But the fans don't realize that their idols are people too. They too have low points in their lives where they want to give up. Where they were at the same point some of their fans were at a point in time. They have their own lives outside of making content. And that makes me sad. It makes me sad that all people care about is getting a quick serotonin fix from someone famous or "more important". Creators are just normal people like you or me. I greatly.. GREATLY appreciate you Nick. I appreciate all of the tremendously hard work you go through to do research, writing, recoding, editing, and putting out videos for us. You are so inspiring and meaningful to me. I have massive insecurities and mental blocks. They are crippling. I just can't bring myself to do anything because I am in fear of failure and harsh judgment. But you, Nick, have inspired me to try. To try to continue on. To keep on trying to live. Thank you Nick. I hope you know that we all love you and greatly appreciate you from the very bottom of our hearts. You are one of the only positive people I have in my life, everyone else is abusive and negative towards me. They make me feel like it's not worth it anymore and that I should give up and end it. But you Nick, you help me push on. You've inspired me to keep pushing on with my creations and writing. Thank you Nick, thank you for everything. Thank you for giving me a reason to keep creating Lovingly and forever grateful, Tobias E.

Unfiction has become my new nightly crack. Discovered this channel while trying to figure out what “Welcome Home” was and fell into a rabbit hole that I have enjoyed so much. Please, to yourself and any unfiction creator reading this I beg you to make more.

"Because they did, in fact, just follow their joy." I'm not an unfiction creator, but I am a creator in the sense that I'm an aspiring author in university. I've been hesitant to dive into some pretty extensive research for a personal project that initially came to life as a fanfiction. If I committed to this project, it would be a huge plunge, and it would largely be for a single class's piece of work. But this project makes me happy. And I think that means something. You're right. I need to follow my joy. Edit: Update! I'm doing it! I'm really, really doing it! I'm typing up my proof of concept and the people who have looked at my drafts so far have truly liked it! There's a lot more work to be done, and I haven't even scratched the surface, but even knowing that is enthralling me. It's evolved into more than I could've ever, ever expected. I'm only in the beginning of it all. Barely. But I'm following my joy! I'm coming back to this video for extra encouragement.

Thank you so much. I am a fresh new college student starting to write stories and I’ve always loved these kind of stories. I’ve been with this Channel for 8 years sense the days of marble hornets, tribe 12, and Everyman hybrid. Seeing stories I’ve been a viewer and participant and detective in here as a main hub a lovely place to put on a video and watch horror and feel safe. So thank you

Moments like these make me regret the fact that KZbin doesn't have a heart button.

Thank you very much for this, I've been a long time viewer since your Marble Hornets days but have never reached out. This video touched me as a creator and the environment of creatives you promote has always been motivating. My project isn't unfiction or horror related but the wisdom you share is applicable, I am writing and illustrating my first children's book. I intended to finish last year, however making progress has been difficult as well as posting progress, and traction has been lacking. Thank you again for the motivation to continue with more patience for myself. Creation truly is the most rewarding experience and worth being celebrated the way you do, for ourselves and others we share with.
